BOX TIP Vape n Scrape

Abstract

The BOX TIP ‘Vape n Scrape’ herbal concentrate vaping device straight edge design produces greater vaping yield; resulting in less herbal concentrate product waste, monetary loss, and herbal concentrate vaping device cleaning time when compared to similar-sized curved edge herbal concentrate vaping devices; because a straight edge contains more edge to flat surface points of contact than a curved edge's single edge to flat surface point of contact.

Description

An herbal concentrate vaping apparatus for reducing herbal concentrate vaping waste and residue, reducing monetary loss, reducing herbal concentrate vaping equipment cleaning, and increasing herbal concentrate vapor yield; comprising of a device with one or more hollow openings containing one or more beveled or non-beveled, straight edge(s), which when sufficiently heated, is used to soften, shovel, and vaporize herbal concentrate and herbal concentrate residue from surfaces. Herbal concentrate can be oily, pasty, crumbly, resinous which can smear on surfaces during the vaping process; forcing the user to repeat vaping process to consume as much herbal concentrate as possible. Herbal concentrate vapor solidifies and adheres to surfaces when cooling; requiring additional vaping (known as recycling) or solvent to remove. [FIG. 5]

Current industry-standard, round-edge vaping apparatuses comtain a single point of surface to edge contact; creating more left over/wasted concentrate and dirtier equipment in comparison to straight-edge vaping apparatuses containing many points of contact. BOX TIP Vape n Scrape apparatus straight edge designs provide optimal surface contact during vaping. Creating greater vapor yield; reducing leftover herbal concentrate and residue, reducing herbal concentrate vaping equipment cleaning, decreasing monetary loss.   • Quartz via Swiss CNC and/or mold [FIG 13]

Alec Glickman invented the BOX TIP Scrape n Vape apparatuses in March 2021 after five years' experiencing wasted concentrate and wasted cleaning time. Numerous online forum discussions and advice columns posting jokes and best practices exposed the overall opportunity for innovation.

Alec Glickman hand sketched his apparatuses based on his knowledge of chisels, blades, and wood working/pastry arts. The initial flagship apparatus, a 14 mm titanium BOX TIP nail [FIG. 11] is the first generation innovation of the current, industry-wide, mass-produced, curved-edge, round 14 mm titanium apparatuses; modifying its round opening/tip into a box-shaped opening/tip with straight beveled chisel edges.

Alec Glickman contracted a project-based, mechanical design professional engineer, he met through posting on Fiverr, an online consultant market place. Engineer received Alec's sketches/expectations and created 2D pdf's with measurements, step files, solidworks files, jpegs of concentrate s utilizing the BOX TIP Vape n Scrape design on several evolving concentrate lines. Records include WhatsApp, Fiverr, and Gmail digital correspondence since March 2021 with financial records. Have the original notebooks, photographs, concentrate search histories, etc.
