The present application generally relates to bras, and more particularly, to bra assembly and method for using the bra assembly.
A strapless bra is a good choice if a user would like to wear a dress for banquet or party etc. Generally, the strapless bra comprises a pair of bra cups and a connector connecting two bra cups. However, the connector may be exposed when wearing low-cut dress. In addition, common strapless bra does not have the functionality of lifting up the breast since there is no strap for supporting.
Therefore, a need remains for a bra assembly and a method for using thereof to provide the user an underwear which can be adjusted between strapless mode and strap mode, decreasing the exposure of the connector when wearing low-cut dress and increasing the functionalities of current strapless bras at the same time.
The present application discloses a bra assembly and a method for using thereof to provide the user an underwear which can be adjusted between strapless mode and strap mode, decreasing the exposure of the connector when wearing low-cut dress and increasing the functionalities of current strapless bras at the same time.
The bra assembly comprises a pair of bra cups, a first clip, a second clip and a removable strap. The pair of bra cups comprises a first bra cup and a second bra cup. The first clip is coupled to the first bra cup. The second clip is coupled to the second bra cup. The removable strap comprises a third clip at a first end and a fourth clip at a second end, wherein the first clip is coupled to the second clip during strapless mode, wherein the first clip is coupled to the third clip and the second clip is coupled to the fourth clip during strap mode.
In various exemplary embodiments, the first clip comprises a groove and the second clip comprises an insertion, the first clip is coupled to the second clip via inserting the insertion of the second clip into the groove of the first clip during the strapless mode. The first clip further comprises a first clip body, a stopper and a blocker, the stopper and the blocker are coupled to the body. The second clip further comprises a second clip body and a connector connecting the insertion and the body. A top portion of the connector is concave. A bottom portion of the blocker is convex.
In various exemplary embodiments, the first clip and the fourth clip are the same.
In various exemplary embodiments, the second clip and the third clip are the same.
In various exemplary embodiments, the first clip comprises a hole. The first bra cup comprises a first bra and a first connecting piece coupled to the first bra, the first bra is coupled to the first clip via passing the first connecting piece through the hole.
In various exemplary embodiments, the second clip comprises a hole. The second bra cup comprises a second bra and a second connecting piece coupled to the second bra, the second bra is coupled to the second clip via passing the second connecting piece through the hole.
A method for using the aforementioned bra assembly is also disclosed. The method comprises coupling the first clip to the second clip for the strapless mode; uncoupling the first clip and the second clip to transfer to the strap mode; coupling the first clip to the third clip; and coupling the second clip to the fourth clip.
Another method for using the aforementioned bra assembly is also disclosed. The method comprises coupling the first clip to the third clip and coupling the second clip to the fourth clip for the strap mode; uncoupling the first clip and the third clip and uncoupling the second clip and the fourth clip to transfer to the strapless mode; and coupling the first clip and the second clip.
Based on the above, the present application allows users to adjust the bra assembly between the strapless mode and the strap mode by coupling the first clip to the second clip or third clip and coupling the second clip to the first clip or the fourth clip. As such, the connector may not be exposed when wearing low-cut dress during strap mode. Moreover, the breast may also be lifted up by the support of the strap.
Furthermore, since the top portion and the bottom portion of the connector of the second clip are concave and the bottom portion of the blocker and the top portion of the stopper are convex, the first clip and the second clip can be coupled more stably.
In addition, since the first clip and the fourth clip are the same and the second clip and the third clip are the same, the manufacturing cost may also be reduced.
Numerous other advantages and features of the present application will become readily apparent from the following detailed description of disclosed embodiments, from the claims and from the accompanying drawings.
The objects, features and advantages of the present application will be more readily appreciated upon reference to the following disclosure when considered in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, wherein like reference numerals are used to identify identical components in the various views, and wherein reference numerals with alphabetic characters are utilized to identify additional types, instantiations or variations of a selected component embodiment in the various views, in which:
Reference will now be made in detail to the present representative embodiments of the present application, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers are used in the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.

The first clip body 110 is coupled with the stopper 120, the blocker 130 and the groove portion 150. The stopper is 120 comprises a recess 122. The blocker 130 comprises a convex bottom portion 132. The hole 140 is located at the first clip body 110. The combination of the groove portion 150, the stopper 120 and the blocker 130 forms the groove 160. Specifically, the groove 160 is connected with the recess 122 to accommodate the insertion 230 (referring to
The second clip 200 comprises a second clip body 210, a connector 220, an insertion 230 and a hole 240.
The connector 220 is coupled to the second clip body 210. The connector 220 comprises atop portion 222 and a bottom portion 224. Both of the top portion 222 and the bottom portion 224 of the connector 220 are concave. The insertion 230 is coupled to the connector 220. The hole 240 is located at the second clip body 210. In the present application, the second clip body 210, the connector 220 and the insertion 230 are molded integrally. However, the present application is not limited thereto, the second clip 200 can be molded by multiple separate components.

The bra assembly 10 comprises the first clip 100, the second clip 200, a first bra cup 300 and a second bra cup 400.
The first bra cup 300 comprises a first bra 310 and a first connecting piece 320 coupled to the first bra 310. The first bra 310 is coupled to the first clip 100 via passing the first connecting piece 320 through the hole 140. The second bra cup 400 comprises a second bra 410 and a second connecting piece 420 coupled to the second bra 410. The second bra 410 is coupled to the second clip 200 via passing the second connecting piece 420 through the hole 240.
It should be noted that the structure of coupling the first bra 310 with the first clip 100 and coupling the second bra 410 with the second clip 200 may be modified as long as the first clip 100 can be coupled to the first bra 310 and the second clip 200 can be coupled to the second bra 410. For example, the first clip 100 may be coupled to the first bra 310 and the second clip 200 may be coupled to the second bra 410 via adhesive. The first connecting piece 320 and the second connecting piece 420 are optional in the bra assembly 10 of the present application.
In addition, the size of the hole 140, the hole 240, the first connecting piece 320 and the second connecting piece 420 may be modified as well.
