This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 201410774134.9 filed on Dec. 16, 2014, the contents of which are incorporated by reference herein.
The subject matter herein generally relates to a bracket.
Electronic devices such as flat screen displays include brackets to support the flat panel display on a platform. When the flat panel display is used, it needs to be positioned on a desk. A conventional supporting bracket usually includes a supporting panel mounted to a shell of the display, and a stand on the platform.
Implementations of the present technology will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the attached figures.
It will be appreciated that for simplicity and clarity of illustration, where appropriate, reference numerals have been repeated among the different figures to indicate corresponding or analogous elements. In addition, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the embodiments described herein. However, it will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art that the embodiments described herein can be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, methods, procedures, and components have not been described in detail so as not to obscure the related relevant feature being described. Also, the description is not to be considered as limiting the scope of the embodiments described herein. The drawings are not necessarily to scale and the proportions of certain parts may be exaggerated to better illustrate details and features of the present disclosure.
Several definitions that apply throughout this disclosure will now be presented.
The term “substantially” is defined to be essentially conforming to the particular dimension, shape, or other feature that the term modifies, such that the component need not be exact. For example, “substantially cylindrical” means that the object resembles a cylinder, but can have one or more deviations from a true cylinder. The term “comprising,” when utilized, means “including, but not necessarily limited to”; it specifically indicates open-ended inclusion or membership in the so-described combination, group, series and the like.
The present disclosure is described in relation to a bracket.
The frame includes a bottom plate 12 and four side plates 14. The four side plates 14 extend from the bottom plate 12. The bottom plate 12 and the four side plates 14 cooperatively define a space 16. Two of the four side plates 14 are substantially parallel to each other and define a groove 140. A cross section of the groove 140 can be substantially polygonal. In at least one embodiment, the cross section of the groove 140 can be substantially hexagonal.
Each supporting pole 20 includes a connecting portion 22, a telescopic pole 24, and a shaft 26. The connecting portion 22 includes a fixing portion 220 and a rotating portion 222. The rotating portion 222 is engaged with the fixing portion 220. A cross section of the fixing portion 220 is the same as the cross section of the groove 140. The rotating portion 222 includes a body 2220 and two connecting pieces 2222. The body 2220 can rotate relative to the fixing portion 220. The two connecting pieces 2222 extend from the body 2220 and are substantially parallel to each other. Each connecting piece 2222 defines a first hole 22220. The telescopic pole 24 includes a connecting member 240, a plurality of poles 242, and a supporting end 244. The connecting member 240 extends from the one of the plurality of poles 242. The supporting end 244 extends from the one of the plurality of poles 242. The plurality of poles 242 are connected to each other. The connecting member 240 defines a second hole 2402. In at least one embodiment, the two connecting pieces 2222 and the connecting member 240 can be substantially U-shaped. A cross section of the plurality of poles 242 can be substantially polygonal. A cross sectional area of the plurality of poles 242 is reduced from the connecting member 240 to the supporting end 244.
The fixing portion 220 is engaged with the groove 140. The shaft 26 is engaged with the two first holes 22220 and the second hole 2402 to connect the connecting portion 22 to the telescopic pole 24.
The embodiments shown and described above are only examples. Many details are often found in the art such as the other features of a bracket. Therefore, many such details are neither shown nor described. Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present technology have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the present disclosure, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in the details, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of the parts within the principles of the present disclosure, up to and including the full extent established by the broad general meaning of the terms used in the claims. It will therefore be appreciated that the embodiments described above may be modified within the scope of the claims.
