Claims
- 1. A D-amino acid amide compound of the formula ##STR421## wherein R.sup.a is methyl, ethyl, isopropyl or n-propyl and
- R.sup.c is a member selected from the group consisting of fenchyl, diisopropylcarbinyl, d-methyl-t-butylcarbinyl, d-ethyl-t-butylcarbinyl, di-t-butylcarbinyl, cyclopropyl-t-butylcarbinyl, cyclopentyl-t-butylcarbinyl, dicyclo-propylcarbinyl, ##STR422## where m.sub.1 is 1, 2 or 3 and
- when
- m.sub.1 is 1: R.sup.30, R.sup.40, R.sup.50 and R.sup.60 are each methyl,
- when
- m.sub.1 is 2:R.sup.30 is methyl, ethyl or isopropyl and R.sup.40, R.sup.50 and R.sup.60 are each methyl and are each hydrogen, or R.sup.30, and
- R.sup.50 are each methyl and R.sup.40 and R.sup.60 are each hydrogen, and
- when
- m.sub.1 is 3:
- (a) R.sup.30 is isopropyl or t-butyl and R.sup.40, R.sup.50 and R.sup.60 are each hydrogen
- (b) R.sup.30 is ethyl, R.sup.50 is methyl and R.sup.40 and R.sup.60 are each hydrogen, or
- (c) R.sup.30 and R.sup.40 are each methyl and R.sup.50 and R.sup.60 are each hydrogen or methyl.
- 2. A compound according to claim 1 wherein R.sup.a is methyl or ethyl and R.sup.c is dicyclopropylcarbinyl.
- 3. A compound according to claim 2 wherein R.sup.a is methyl.
