The disclosure relates to brassiere device and more particularly pertains to a new brassiere device for storing objects in a brassiere. The device includes a pair of pouches, each integrated into a respective cup, and a pair of closures to close the pouches. Each of the pouches can store objects and each of the pouches protects the objects from moisture.
The prior art relates to brassiere devices including a variety of brassieres that have at least one pocket integrated therein for storing objects. The prior art discloses an undergarment that has a pocket integrated therein. In no instance does the prior art disclose a brassiere that has water proof pouches integrated therein.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a brassiere that has a pair of cups such that the brassiere can be worn as a female undergarment. Each of the cups has an opening extending into an interior of the cups. A pair of pouches is each integrated into a respective one of the cups. Each of the pouches is aligned with the opening in the respective cup to receive objects for storage. A pair of closures is each slidably integrated into a respective one of the cups. Each of the closures is aligned with the opening in the respective cup for opening and closing the opening.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
A pair of pouches 28 is provided and each of the pouches 28 is integrated into a respective one of the cups 14. Each of the pouches 28 is aligned with the opening 16 in the respective cup 14 to receive objects 30 for storage. Additionally, each of the pouches 28 is positioned between the front surface 20 and the back surface 22 of the respective cup 14. Each of the pouches 28 is comprised of a fluid impermeable material to protect the objects 30 stored therein from moisture. Each of the pouches 28 has a top end 32 that is open, and the top end 32 is aligned with the opening 16 in the respective cup 14.
A pair of closures 34 is provided and each of the closures 34 is slidably integrated into a respective one of the cups 14. Each of the closures 34 is aligned with the opening 16 in the respective cup 14 for opening 16 and closing the opening 16. Each of the closures 34 comprises a first portion 36 that is coupled to the first bounding edge 24 of the opening 16 in the respective cup 14. Additionally, each of the closures 34 comprises a second portion 38 that is coupled to the second bounding edge 26 of the opening 16 in the respective cup 14. The first portion 36 forms a fluid impermeable seal with the second portion 38 when the closures 34 are in a closed position. Each of the closures 34 may comprise a re-sealable slide zipper, similar to those found on plastic sandwich bags or the like.
In use, the brassiere 12 is worn in the conventional manner of wearing brassieres and objects 30, such as currency, car keys or other small objects, can be stored in either of the pouches 28. Additionally, the pouches 28 inhibit the objects 30 from becoming wet from perspiration or other source of moisture. The closures 34 can be closed to fully protect the objects 30 in the pouches 28 from being exposed to moisture. The brassiere 12 can be laundered and cared for in the same manner as a conventional brassiere.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
