Abstract
A breathing shoe has a network of intercrossing and interconnecting pipes in the outer sole and midsole thereof. Each of the pipes has at least one outlet in communication with the environment in the front and rear position of the shoe. Each of the pipes is formed with several vent holes. Any hole of the outer sole has a semicircular hole opening upward. The midsole has a semicircular hole opening downward corresponding to the outer sole and a vent hole. After the outer sole and the midsole are combined together, the air chamber formed by the two semicircular holes along with the vent holes exchange humid and hot air inside the shoe with the fresh air outside, keeping the inside dry.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of Invention

The invention relates to a shoe and, in particular, to a breathing shoe.

2. Related Art

To reduce the discomfort of the hot and humid air inside shoes, various kinds of breathing shoes are invented. The ones that attract a lot of attention on the market are the breathing shoes made by the Italian vendor GEOX. One important feature of the breathing shoe is a set of vent holes symmetrically distributed in the outer sole and midsole areas. The front surface of the midsole corresponding to that area is attached with a GORE-TEX breathing, waterproof membrane. The hot and humid air inside the shoe is expelled via the vent holes while the user walks. At the same time, fresh air enters the shoe. The inside of the shoe is kept dry through the action of breathing.

However, the vent holes on the outer sole are direct contact with the ground. After a long time, they are likely to be blocked by dirt. Or the breathing, waterproof membrane may lose its effects so that water enters.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The inventor of this specification is a professional show maker. In view of the foregoing problems in the prior art, the inventor is devoted to find an improved breathing shoe.

The disclosed breathing shoe has a network of intercrossing and interconnecting pipes in the outer sole and midsole thereof Each of the pipes has at least one outlet in communication with the environment in the front and rear position of the shoe.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

These and other features, aspects and advantages of the invention will become apparent by reference to the following description and accompanying drawings which are given by way of illustration only, and thus are not limitative of the invention, and wherein:

FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing the structure of the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein the same references relate to the same elements.

Please refer to FIG. 1. The invention has a network of several intercrossing and interconnecting pipes 31, 32 in the outer sole 1 and the midsole 2. Each of the pipes 31, 32 has at least one outlet 33 to the environment in the front and rear positions of the shoe. The pipe is formed with several vent holes 22, each of which has a semicircular hole 11 opening upward. The midsole 2 is formed with a semicircular hole 21 opening downward and a vent hole 22. After the outer sole 1 and the midsole 2 are combined into one, the air chamber formed by the two semicircular holes along with the vent holes 22 exchange hot and humid air inside the shoe with fresh air outside, keeping the inside dry.

When it is raining or the user walks on a wet ground, one simply takes out plugs 4 normally saved in the plug saving holes 34 and plugs it into the outlets 33. On the other hand, to let the shoe breathe, one has to unplug the plugs 4 from the outlets 33 and save them in the plug saving holes 34 for the next time.

Although the invention has been described with reference to specific embodiments, this description is not meant to be construed in a limiting sense. Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternative embodiments, will be apparent to persons skilled in the art. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claims will cover all modifications that fall within the true scope of the invention.

Claims
  • 1. A breathing shoe having a network of intercrossing and interconnecting pipes in the outer sole and the midsole thereof; wherein each of the pipes has at least one outlet to the ambient space in the front and rear positions of the shoe; each of the pipes is formed with a plurality of vent holes, any of which has a semicircular hole opening upward; the midsole has a semicircular hole opening downward corresponding to the outer sole and a vent hole; when the outer sole and the midsole are combined into one, the air chamber formed by the two semicircular holes and the vent holes exchange hot and humid air inside the shoe with fresh air outside, keeping the inside dry.
  • 2. The breathing shoe of claim 1, wherein the outlets of the pipes are closed with plugs.
  • 3. The breathing shoe of claim 2, wherein the plugs are disposed inside a plug saving holes near the outlets.
