The present invention relates to brushes for cleaning liquid crystal glass substrates and any other boards and, more particularly, to a bristle band with different types of bristles.
Glass substrates for liquid crystal panels are cleaned with roller brushes. Some roller brushes each comprise a rotating shaft and a bristle-clad cord wound around the rotating shaft. The rotating shaft drives the bristles of the cord to move and thereby clean the glass substrates.
In practice, impurities of different particle diameters are removed from liquid crystal glass substrates by bristles of different diameters. Taiwan patent M411157 discloses removing impurities of different degrees of rigidity by a first helical annular frame and a second helical annular frame which intertwine. However, cleaning efficiency of Taiwan patent M411157 still has room for improvement as explained below. Given a constant rotation speed of a rotating shaft, the cleaning efficiency increases with the types of bristles passing a cleaning target. In this regard, Taiwan patent M411157 has a drawback: to increase the types of bristles, it is necessary to increase the number of the helical annular frames, which in turn increases the distance the bristles move to pass a cleaning target, and in consequence the bristles pass a cleaning target less often to the detriment of the cleaning efficiency.
In view of the aforesaid drawbacks of the prior art, it is an objective of the present invention to provide a bristle band with different types of bristles, thereby enhancing cleaning efficiency.
A bristle band with different types of bristles is provided according to the present invention. The bristle band winds around a rotating shaft and is driven by the rotating shaft to rotate. The bristle band comprises: a cord wound around the rotating shaft and having a receiving slot; a first bristle having a portion disposed in the receiving slot and fixedly connected to the cord; and a second bristle having a portion disposed in the receiving slot and fixedly connected to the cord.
With a first bristle and a second bristle being disposed in the cord and a rotating shaft rotating at a constant rotation speed, different types of bristles passing a cleaning target come in more types than ever, thereby enhancing cleaning efficiency.
Preferably, the bristle band further comprises a batten disposed in the receiving slot. The cord forms a first sidewall and a second sidewall on two opposing sides of the receiving slot. The first sidewall and the second sidewall correspond in position to each other to clamp the first bristle, the second bristle and the batten. The first bristle and the second bristle are better fixed in place by the batten.
The receiving slot is divided into a first zone and a second zone along the cord lengthwise, with the first bristle disposed in the first zone and fixedly connected to the cord, and the second bristle disposed in the second zone and fixedly connected to the cord. Therefore, different types of bristles are disposed on the cord to enhance cleaning efficiency.
The cord forms a first sidewall and a second sidewall on two opposing sides of the receiving slot, the first bristle forming a first layer, the second bristle forming a second layer, allowing the first layer and the second layer to be disposed between the first sidewall and the second sidewall. Therefore, different types of bristles are disposed on the cord to enhance cleaning efficiency.
The first bristle or the second bristle is a monofilament or a multifilament, with a diameter of 5 mm to 0.01 mm.
The first bristle or the second bristle is sheet-shaped.
The first bristle or the second bristle is made of polypropylene (PP), polyfluoroalkoxy (PFA), nylon, sponge, or the like.
Technical features of the present invention are hereunder illustrated with specific embodiments in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and described below.
Referring to
The cord 11 is wound around the rotating shaft 20. The cord 11 has a receiving slot 111. The receiving slot 111 is disposed along the cord 11 lengthwise.
The first bristle 12 has a portion disposed in the receiving slot 111 and fixedly connected to the cord 11 and has another portion protruding from the receiving slot 111 to come into contact with an object and thereby wash the surface thereof.
The second bristle 13 has a portion disposed in the receiving slot 111 and fixedly connected to the cord 11 and has another portion protruding from the receiving slot 111 to come into contact with an object and thereby wash the surface thereof.
With the first bristle 12 and the second bristle 13 being disposed in the cord 11 and the rotating shaft 20 rotating at a constant rotation speed, different types of bristles passing a cleaning target come in more types than ever, thereby enhancing cleaning efficiency.
In the first embodiment, the bristle band 10 further comprises a batten 21 disposed in the receiving slot 111. The cord 11 forms a first sidewall 112 and a second sidewall 113 on two opposing sides of the receiving slot 111. The first sidewall 112 and the second sidewall 113 correspond in position to each other to clamp the first bristle 12, the second bristle 13 and the batten 21. The first bristle 12 and the second bristle 13 are better fixed in place by the batten 21.
In the first embodiment, the receiving slot 111 is divided into a first zone 111a and a second zone 111b along the cord 11 lengthwise. The first bristle 12 is disposed in the first zone 111a and fixedly connected to the cord 11. The second bristle 13 is disposed in the second zone 111b and fixedly connected to the cord 11. Therefore, different types of bristles are disposed on the cord 11, enhancing cleaning efficiency. The first bristle 12 or the second bristle 13 is a monofilament or a multifilament, with a diameter of 5 mm to 0.01 mm. The first bristle 12 or the second bristle 13 is sheet-shaped. The first bristle 12 or the second bristle 13 is made of one of polypropylene (PP), polyfluoroalkoxy (PFA), nylon, sponge, and the like.
The first embodiment is exemplified by the first bristle 12 and the second bristle 13, but the present invention is not restricted to two types of bristles. In a variant embodiment, there are at least four types of bristles, that is, a first bristle, a second bristle, a third bristle, a fourth bristle, and so forth, are disposed on the cord 11, enhancing cleaning efficiency.
In the second embodiment illustrated by
Therefore, the present invention has a main advantage as follows: with a first bristle and a second bristle being disposed in the same cord and a rotating shaft rotating at a constant rotation speed, the bristles passing a cleaning target come in more types than ever, thereby enhancing cleaning efficiency.
