BRUSH AND/OR BRUSH HOLDER

Abstract
A brush and a brush holder are disclosed.
Description
BACKGROUND

The patent application concerns brushes and/or brush holders.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIGS. 1-16 show different views of brushes and/or brush holders.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

An all-in-one multi-functional scrub brush is disclosed that can provide different cleaning functions to clean dishes, inside glasses, inside tall bottles, pots and pans, countertops, etc., in one easy-to-use brush, eliminating the need for multiple brushes and sponges cluttering the kitchen. See FIGS. 1, 3.

The brush can include a general-purpose brush section; a scraper brush section; a bottle brush section; a bottle bottom scraper brush section; one, two, or more solid scraper sections (including at a handle), and/or a soap dispenser.

An example of a general-purpose Brush section is depicted in LIGHT BLUE, and can have soft flexible bristles that can be approximately 20 millimeters (mm) long. The brush surface can be at approximately a 20-25 degree angle from the handle. This section can be used general use, cleaning dishes, bowls, low pans, countertops, etc. Using light pressure/force, the long soft bristle will conform to the item it is cleaning and do most of the work, per FIG. 4. The shorter dark blue scrapping bristle will lightly bush against the surface, assisting with cleaning, per FIG. 4. This can eliminate the need for a sponge and can be much more sanitary, per FIGS. 3, 4, and 8.

An example of a scraper brush section is depicted in DARK BLUE, and can have rigid, stiff bristles that can be approximately 10 mm long. The brush surface can be at approximately a 20-25 degree angle from the handle. This section can be used for removing stubborn hard-to-remove debris and cleaning dishes, bowls, low pans, countertops, etc. Using heavy pressure/force, the short rigid bristle will engage with the item for cleaning the hard jobs, per FIG. 4. The longer LIGHT BLUE bristles will assist in sweeping away the loose debris. The LIGHT BLUE and DARK BLUE sections are a 2-in-1 brush, and the user can simply apply light or heavy pressure to produce different cleaning results without having to use two separate brushes and constantly switch back and forth, per FIG. 4. Together, the two brush functions assist each other, and can provide better cleaning results and ease of use, per FIGS. 3 and 4.

An example of a bottle brush section is depicted in GREEN, and can have soft, flexible bristles that can be approximately 20 mm long. The brush surface can be in-line or parallel with the handle and curved, such as in a ⅓ circular shape, to fit the inside of bottles, glasses, tall pots, etc., per FIGS. 5, 6, and 7.

An example of a bottle bottom scraper brush is depicted in DARK BLUE, and can have bristle(s) extending to the end or bottom (such as depending on the position of the brush) of the brush to clean the bottom of tall items (bottles, glasses, tall pots, etc.). The scraper bristles can provide two functions: (1) remove stubborn debris, and (2) protect and prevent the GREEN soft bristles from being crushed and becoming defective over time, per FIGS. 5, 6, and 7.

An example of a first solid scraper section can be incorporated into the brush, and is a rigid scraper that can be located on the end of the brush. This section can be shaped and positioned to (1) scrape debris off flat and slightly curve items such as plates, pans, and shallow pots, etc., and (2) scrape debris from the bottom edge of bottles, glasses, or tall pots, etc., per FIGS. 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 14.

An example of a second solid scraper section can be incorporated into the handle, and is a rigid scraper located on the end of the handle to provide more scraping options and angles to fit many different shaped items. The design can have any combination of sides, corners, and angles. An example design may have four corners and four sides, each with a different radius. Each of the four corners has a different radius to clean different size grooves. Each of the four sides has a different radius, and one flat and three slightly different curves to fit different contoured plates, bowls, pans, etc. The design can provide angles and sharpness to scrape and clean while providing a comfortable handle. The handle can have a removable threaded cap for refilling the liquid soap, and/or the cap and scrapper can be replaced with different styles as desired or if or when it wears out, per FIGS. 15 and 16.

An example of a soap dispenser is one that can be built-in throughout the brush, shaft, and handle so that a small amount of liquid soap can conveniently be squirted (see the squirt value opening in FIG. 13 on items that are to be cleaned by pushing the soap button on the handle, per FIG. 12. There can be a cap on the end of the handle that screws off so more liquid soap can be added.

A brush holder can hold the brush that has been described so that the brush can drip dry and not lay in a wet sink or out on the counter to avoid germs and improve health, per FIG. 2. The brush holder can conceal the brush so as to provide an appealing look and so that the brush is out of the way when not being used. The holder can be placed on the counter, or under the sink, and helps keep the brush clean by concealing and protecting it from other items when on the counter, under the sink, etc. The holder can firmly hold the bush in place while providing easy access to removed or insert the brush with no moving parts or clips.
