- drive means for moving said flash unit between said normal light emission position, said other position and said third position, said drive means including position detecting means for detecting at least said normal light emission position, said other position and said third position of said flash unit.
- 2. The built-in flash apparatus according to claim 1, said drive means causing said flash unit to continuously take any position including said normal light emission position, said other position and said third position as well as positions therebetween.
- 3. The built-in flash apparatus according to claim 1, further including a detecting means for detecting said flash unit at said normal light emission position and said other position.
- 4. The built-in flash apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said other position is a housing position where said flash is operative to radiate light externally.
- 5. A built-in flash apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said drive means comprises motor drive means.
- 6. A built-in flash apparatus in a camera, comprising:
- a flash unit provided at an upper portion of the camera and arranged to be movable between a normal light emission position where a light emission surface is exposed and a housing position where the light emission surface is not exposed;
- a condensing lens body provided in front of said light emission surface of said flash unit and arranged so as to be movable together with said flash unit between said normal light emission position and said housing position;
- a means for changing a distance between said condensing lens body and said light emission surface to thereby change a radiation angle of light emitted from said flash unit in said normal light emission position, wherein both said flash unit and said condensing lens are moved by an electric motor.
- 7. The built-in flash apparatus according to claim 6, wherein said changing means includes a Fresnel lens.
- 8. A built-in flash apparatus in a camera, comprising:
- a flash unit provided at an upper portion of the camera and arranged to be movable between a normal light emission position where a light emission surface looks in a first direction toward an object, another position where the light emission surface looks in a second direction different from said first direction, and a bouncing position where said light emission surface looks more upward than in said first direction; and
- drive means for moving said flash unit between said normal light emission position, said other position and said bouncing position.
- 9. A built-in flash apparatus in a camera, comprising:
- a flash unit provided at an upper portion of the camera and arranged to be movable between a normal light emission position where a light emission surface is exposed and a housing position where the light emission surface is not exposed;
- a condensing lens body provided in front of said light emission surface of said flash unit and arranged so as to be movable together with said flash unit between said normal light emission position and said housing position;
- coupling and moving means for interconnecting said camera, light emission surface and condensing lens, and for moving said light emission surface and said condensing lens between said normal light emission position and said housing position, said coupling and moving means holding said condensing lens in a first angular relationship with said light emission surface when said light emission surface is in said normal light emission position and in a second angular relationship with said light emission surface when said light emission surface is in said housing position.
- 10. A built-in flash apparatus in a camera, comprising:
- a flash unit provided at an upper portion of the camera and arranged to be movable between a normal light emission position where a light emission surface is exposed and a housing position where the light emission surface is not exposed;
- a condensing lens body provided in front of said light emission surface of said flash unit and arranged so as to be movable together with said flash unit between said normal light emission position and said housing position;
- coupling means for interconnecting said camera, light emission surface and condensing lens, said coupling means comprising first means for supporting said light emission surface for pivotal movement with respect to said camera about a first pivot point, second means for supporting said condensing lens for pivotal movement with respect to said camera about a second pivot point, and third means for supporting said condenser lens for pivotal movement with respect to said light emission surface about a third point; and
- moving means for moving at least one of said light emission surface and said condensing lens for changing a distance between said condensing lens and said light emission surface to thereby change a radiation angle of light emitted from said flash unit in said normal light emission position.
- 11. The built-in flash apparatus of claim 10, wherein said moving means moves said first pivot point while raising said flash unit from said housing position to said normal light emission position.
- 12. The built-in flash apparatus of claim 11, wherein said moving means moves said first pivot point over a first movement range to raise said flash unit from said housing position to said normal light emission position, and moves said first pivot point over a second movement range with said light emission surface in said normal light emission position to change the distance between said light emission surface and said condensing lens and vary the radiation angle of light emitted from said flash unit.
