Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present disclosure relates to a bulk bag opening device with a swing unit. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a bulk bag opening device with a swing unit, which is configured to swing the bulk bag after emptying out the bulk bag, thus allowing contents remaining in the bulk bag to be removed therefrom.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A bulk bag is a sack that is used for loading or transporting raw materials such as fertilizers, grains, or minerals, and is also called a ton bag.

The bulk bag may contain contents such as powder depending on the purpose of use. In this case, if moisture or water enters a product, it may lead to a defective product and cause a claim when delivering the product to a customer. Thus, the bulk bag should basically undergo waterproof treatment. Since the waterproof treatment increases the unit cost of the bulk bag, the bulk bag may be sometimes used as a type designed to untie or tie a lower ring rather than cutting the bulk bag for the sake of continuous reuse.

In order to transfer contents, a lower portion of the bulk bag is cut. After the bulk bag is cut, a pellet product is heavy and thereby falls well into a hopper. However, a powder product has a low specific gravity and may be caught between seams or in corners of the bag, so the powder may not be discharged well.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An objective of the present disclosure is to provide a bulk bag opening device with a swing unit, which can remove contents remaining in the bulk bag as much as possible, after the bulk bag is opened to discharge the contents.

In order to achieve the objective of the present disclosure, there is provided a bulk bag opening device with a swing unit, the device including a transfer unit that transfers a bulk bag, a cutting unit that cuts the transferred bulk bag, and a discharge unit that discharges contents to a hopper. Here, the bulk bag opening device includes a swing unit having a length adjustment means provided outside the bulk bag to be spaced apart therefrom by a predetermined distance and accessing to the bulk bag, and a grip means provided on an end of the length adjustment means to grip the bulk bag, thereby shaking and emptying the contents remaining in the bulk bag.

The swing unit may be equipped with a vibrator.

The length adjustment means may be an actuator operated by a cylinder or a motor.

The swing unit may include a moving means connected to the length adjustment means to be movable along a side of the bulk bag.

The cutting unit may include blades arranged in four directions from a center so that diagonal lines of a lower surface of the bulk bag moving downward are cut across each other.

The transfer unit may move the bulk bag down to seat the bulk bag on an upper portion of the hopper of the discharge unit, the cutting unit may cut the bulk bag, and then a lifting speed may be adjusted by the transfer unit so that the contents in the bulk bag naturally flow and are transferred to the hopper, thus minimizing dust generation, and the swing unit may grip and swing the bulk bag lifted to a certain height.

According to the present disclosure, the following effects can be expected.

After a bulk bag is moved and opened to empty contents, the remaining contents can be removed as much as possible by gripping and shaking the bulk bag.

The bulk bag can be swung leftward and rightward in various ways, and the remaining contents of the bulk bag can be removed as much as possible by applying vibration thereto.

Therefore, since the remaining contents of the bulk bag are removed by a swing, it is advantageous to open the bulk bag containing powder.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Hereafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Since the embodiments shown in the following description and accompanying drawings are presented for the general understanding of the present disclosure, the technical scope of the present disclosure is not limited thereto. In the following description, if it is decided that the detailed description of known technologies related to the present disclosure makes the subject matter of the embodiments described herein unclear, the detailed description is omitted.

In order to accomplish the objective, according to the present disclosure, a bulk bag opening device having a transfer unit that transfers a bulk bag, a cutting unit that cuts the transferred bulk bag, and a discharge unit that discharges contents to a hopper may further include a swing unit to shake off and discharge the contents remaining in the bulk bag.

FIG. 1 is a view showing a bulk bag opening device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, FIGS. 2A to 2C are views showing a cutting unit of the bulk bag opening device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, FIGS. 3A and 3B are views showing a cutting unit of the bulk bag opening device according to another embodiment of the present disclosure, FIG. 4 is a view showing a bulk bag opening device equipped with a swing unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, FIGS. 5A and 5B are a side view and a plan view respectively showing a bulk bag opening device equipped with a swing unit according to another embodiment of the present disclosure, and FIG. 6 is a plan view showing a bulk bag opening device equipped with a swing unit according to a further embodiment of the present disclosure.

As shown in FIG. 1, the bulk bag opening device according to the present disclosure includes a frame 100 defining a basic structure. A transfer unit 200 may be installed on the frame and grip the bulk bag to load or unload the bulk bag. A cutting unit 300 (see FIGS. 2A to 2C and FIGS. 3A and 3B) may be installed to cut a lower portion of the bulk bag that is moved by the transfer unit 200. A discharge unit 400 composed of a hopper may be installed under the cutting unit 300. A swing unit 500 (see FIGS. 4 to 6) may be installed above the discharge unit 400.

The transfer unit 200 may move up and down while gripping the bulk bag from the top. In addition, a sliding means may be installed in the frame 100 to be movable forward, backward, leftward, and rightward on a horizontal plane.

Referring to FIGS. 2A to 2C, the cutting unit 300 shown in FIG. 2A is a device for cutting the lower portion of the bulk bag. When the bulk bag 10 is moved down by the transfer unit, the load of the bulk bag acts on a four-way cross-shaped blade of the cutting unit 300, so the lower surface of the bulk bag 10 is cut into four sides as shown in the plane of FIG. 2C, and the contents are spread by the load through the lower cut portion as shown in the side of FIG. 2B.

Referring to FIGS. 3A and 3B, in the cutting unit 300, a circular rotary blade may move in a horizontal direction to cut the lower portion of the bulk bag.

In the first method, as shown in FIG. 3A, guidelines 320 are located at three positions to match edges of the lower surface of the bulk bag 10, and each rotary blade 340 moves along each guideline 320, thus cutting the lower portion of the bulk bag while leaving only one edge.

In the second method, as shown in FIG. 3B, the rotary blade 340 moves to an opposite side along an “U”-shaped guideline so that the rotary blade 340 moves along three edges of the lower surface of the bulk bag 10, thus cutting the lower portion of the bulk bag while leaving only one edge. In a next cutting operation, the cutting is started from the opposite side of the bulk bag 10.

The guideline 320 may employ any device such as a belt or an LM guide as long as it may move the rotary blade 340.

On the other hand, when cutting the bulk bag, a spring or a pneumatic cylinder is further installed on the rotary blade 340 to adjust a pressing force on the bulk bag and thereby allow the bulk bag to be always cut while being in close contact with the rotary blade.

After the bulk bag is cut by the cutting unit 300, the contents of the bulk bag may be poured and discharged through the discharge unit 400 (see FIG. 1) with the hopper located at the lower portion.

Referring to FIGS. 4 to 6, according to the present disclosure, all contents remaining in the bulk bag may be removed through the swing unit 500.

The swing unit 500 may swing the bulk bag 10, and include a length adjustment means 520 and a grip means 540. Here, at least one swing unit 500 may be provided. For example, the swing units may be installed in two places to correspond to opposite sides of the bulk bag, or in four places to correspond to four sides of the bulk bag.

The length adjustment means 520 is an actuator that brings the grip means 540 into close contact with or spaced apart from the side surface of the bulk bag 10. In the present disclosure, the length may be adjusted by a pneumatic cylinder. In addition to the pneumatic cylinder, the length of a bar may be adjusted by converting a rotary motion into a linear motion by the operation of a motor.

The grip means 540 may hold the side surface of the bulk bag, and grip various portions of the bulk bag in the form of tongs.

In addition, a height adjustment means may be further installed on the swing unit to adjust the height of the side surface of the bulk bag by automatically adjusting the height using a motor or manually setting the height so that the lower portion, middle portion, and upper portion of the bulk bag may be adjusted and gripped when the side surface of the bulk bag is gripped. In this case, the height adjustment means may be installed between the length adjustment means and the grip means, and the height adjustment means, the length adjustment means, and the grip means may be installed in this order, so the height is adjusted and then the grip position of the bulk bag using the grip means may be adjusted by the length adjustment means.

In the side view of FIG. 5A and the plan view of FIG. 5B showing the embodiment of the present disclosure, the grip means 540 may grip both sides of the cut lower surface of the bulk bag 10, and swing in different directions, thus allowing the remaining contents of the bulk bag 10 to be removed. Of course, the grip means may also swing in the same direction.

In FIG. 4, when the lower surface of the bulk bag 10 is cut in four places A, B, C, and D, each side may be gripped and held by each grip means 540.

As in another method shown in FIG. 6, each corner around the side of the bulk bag 10 may be gripped and held.

According to the present disclosure, when the cut surface of the bulk bag is held by the grip means 540, a swing process may be performed by repeated operations corresponding to the set length of the actuator, and a vibrator may be installed in the swing unit 500 to perform the swing process.

Referring to FIGS. 4 to 6, the swing unit 500 may further include a moving means (not shown) that is connected to the length adjustment means 520 and is movable along the side of the bulk bag. Here, the moving means may move along the side of the bulk bag 10 to adjust the position when the surface of the bulk bag to be cut does not match the side, thereby allowing the length adjustment means 520 to accurately move to the cut surface. The moving means may be installed on the frame to shift the position of the length adjustment means 520. The moving means may be moved using a cam follower bearing or a V-groove bearing on an LM guide, an LM shaft, a square rail, or a circular rail, and any shape is possible.

The bulk bag opening device with the swing unit according to the present disclosure can swing the open bulk bag using the swing unit, can be horizontally moved by the moving means and be vertically moved by the height adjustment means to correspond to the position of the side, the side edge or the cut surface of the lower surface of the bulk bag, and can be swung in various ways. In addition, the vibrator may be mounted to add vibration to the swing, so its utilization is high and it is particularly effective in removing powder.

Moreover, after the bulk bag is moved down and is seated and held on a mesh plate or a seat guide installed in an upper portion of the hopper, the bulk bag is cut. Subsequently, the bulk bag is slowly moved up by an unloader or a hoist to minimize dust, so the cut portion of the bulk bag naturally discharges the product to the hopper. As the bulk bag is slowly moved up by the unloader or the hoist that is the transfer unit, dust generation is minimized. After the bulk bag is lifted to a certain height, the bulk bag is gripped and swung by the swing unit. It is possible to set an operation so that the cut surface rubs against the mesh plate or seat guide installed in a lower portion of the hopper while shaking together.

Although the present disclosure was provided above in relation to specific embodiments shown in the drawings, it is apparent to those skilled in the art that the present disclosure may be changed and modified in various ways without departing from the scope of the present disclosure, which is described in the following claims.
