- a board horizontally disposed and vertically moveable within said interior, said board having a bottom surface;
- supports positioned on said side walls near said bottom of said container such that said board rests on said supports and said bottom surface of said board is above said bottom of said container when said board is at its lowest position in said container; and
- at least two vertical openings defined in one of said side walls, said vertical openings having a bottom edge extending to below said bottom surface of said board at its lowest position, thereby defining a gap between said bottom surface of said board and said bottom edge of said vertical openings for insertion of a lifting tool through said one of said side walls to raise said board at its lowest position.
- 2. The container as in claim 1 wherein said vertical openings terminates above said bottom of said container.
- 3. The container as in claim 2 further comprising legs extending from said bottom of said container for elevating said bottom of said container above a plane on which said legs rest so that a space is defined between said bottom of said container and said plane for insertion of a tool for lifting said container.
- 4. The container as in claim 1 further comprising:
- a ledge attached to each of said four side walls, said ledge at said bottom of said container and extending into said interior.
- 5. A container for holding a plurality of stacked articles, comprising:
- a plurality of legs;
- a plurality of sides defining an interior of said container, said sides connected to and supported by said legs;
- a board horizontally disposed and vertically moveable within said interior, said board having a bottom surface;
- means for supporting said bottom surface of said board when said board is at its lowest position in said container; and
- a vertical opening in a first side extending to below said bottom surface of said board at its lowest position for insertion of a lifting tool through said vertical opening to raise said board.
- 6. The container as in claim 5 wherein said vertical opening terminates above said bottom edge of said one side.
- 7. The container as in claim 6, further comprising:
- two vertical openings in said first side for insertion of said lifting tool.
- 8. The container as in claim 5 further comprising:
- legs extending from said bottom of said container for elevating said bottom of said container above a plane on which said legs rest so that a space is defined between said bottom of said container and said plane for insertion of a tool for lifting said container.
