  • 2. The bumper device for a vehicle according to claim 1, wherein a thickness of a part of the bumper reinforcement located exterior to the hole at the impact surface in an up and down direction thereof is wider than a part of the bumper reinforcement located within the hole at the impact surface in an up and down direction thereof.
  • 3. The bumper device for a vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the bumper reinforcement includes: an outer end plate member extending in the width direction of the vehicle;an upward sloping plate member upwardly extending from an upper end portion of the outer end plate toward a vehicle inner side;an upper plate member substantially horizontally extending from an upper end portion of the upward sloping plate member toward the vehicle inner side;a downward sloping plate member downwardly extending from a lower end portion of the outer end plate member toward the vehicle inner side;a lower plate member substantially horizontally extending from a lower end portion of the downward sloping plate member toward the vehicle inner side; anda mounting plate member connecting an inner end portion of the upper plate member at the vehicle inner side and an inner end portion of the lower plate member at the vehicle inner side.
  • 4. The bumper device for a vehicle according to claim 3, wherein a thickness of the upward sloping plate member and the downward sloping plate member is wider than an upper range portion and a lower range portion of the outer end plate member.
  • 5. The bumper device for a vehicle according to claim 3, wherein the bumper reinforcement further includes a reinforcing plate member extending parallel to the upper plate member and the lower plate member and connecting the outer end plate member and the mounting plate member.
  • 6. The bumper device for a vehicle according to claim 2, wherein a thickness of an intermediate range portion of the bumper reinforcement located at an intermediate position in the up and down direction thereof is wider than the part of the bumper reinforcement located exterior to the hole at the impact surface in the up and down direction thereof.
  • 7. The bumper device for a vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the bumper reinforcement includes a mirror symmetrical shape in the up and down direction.
