Abstract
A burning set is disclosed for a barbecue stove. The burning set includes a burner, an igniter and a circular cover. The burner includes an annular cage, an annular cover, a conductor and a channel. The annular cage defines vents near an external edge. The annular cover is installed on the annular cage and made with a plurality of orifices near an internal edge. The conductor is formed on the annular cover near the orifices. The channel is directed in an outward sense of a radial direction from the conductor. The igniter generates arcs to the conductor. The circular cover shields the igniter and an internal annular portion of the annular cover from sauce and juice during barbecuing and from water during washing.
Description
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

1. Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a barbecue stove and, more particularly, to a burner thereof that can easily be cleaned and can prevent an igniter from getting wet.

2. Related Prior Art

A barbecue is an activity that participants can easily fling themselves into and communicate with one another. Hence, barbecues are getting popular. The development of the related devices is diverse and comprehensive. For example, there are devices ranging from simple DIY barbecue stoves to full-functional barbecue stoves operated on fuel ranging from coal to gas. There are various barbecue stoves devised in view of satisfying different needs of customers.

Such full-functional barbecue stoves are used in occasions where a lot of people take part and a lot of food has to be cooked. Therefore, such full-functional barbecue stoves are mostly operated on gas. Existing burners of such full-functional barbecue stoves are derived from ordinary domestic stoves operated on gas. Such a burner includes several groups of orifices. In each of the groups, the orifices are arranged along a circle. The groups are co-centric. An igniter is positioned outside and near the burner in order to provide a large area of fire. However, there are some problems with such a bumer used in a barbecue stove. For example, there is only a grill, no pan, above such a burner in barbecuing, a lot of sauce and juice drop onto such a burner. Such a burner is contaminated, and its orifices are blocked. The evenness of the fire is affected. Hence, after some time of use, such a burner must be cleaned. It is however difficult to clean such an igniter. If washing such an igniter, a user will wet it, and will not be able to actuate it properly, and will jeopardize the following barbecuing. There is not any barbecue stove with a burner that can easily be cleaned and an igniter that can be kept dry during the cleaning of the burner.

The present invention is therefore intended to obviate or at least alleviate the problems encountered in prior art.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

It is the primary objective of the present invention to provide a barbecue stove with a burner that can easily be cleaned and an igniter that can be kept dry during the cleaning of the burner.

According to the present invention, a burning set is disclosed for a barbecue stove. The circle cover shields the igniter and an internal annular portion of the annular cover from sauce and juice during barbecuing and from water during washing.

Other objectives, advantages and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following description referring to the attached drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

The present invention will be described through detailed description of the preferred embodiment referring to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a burning set for a barbecue stove according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the burning set shown in FIG. 1.

FIG. 3 is a top view of the burning set shown in FIG. 1.

FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the burning set along a line A-A in FIG. 3.

FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the burning set along a line B-B in FIG. 3.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIG. 1, shown is a burning set for use in a barbecue stove according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention. The burning set includes a burner 1 in the form of a ring and an igniter 20 encircled by means of the burner 1.

Referring to FIGS. 1 through 3, the burner 1 includes an annular cage 10 and an annular cover 15 positioned on the annular cage 10 securely by means of riveting. The annular cage 10 and the annular cover 15 thus define a space.

The annular cage 10 includes a floor, an external wall on the floor and an internal wall on the floor. The floor of the annular cage 10 defines an aperture through which an outlet of a gas pipe 13 is inserted into the burner 1. The external wall of the annular cage 10 defines a plurality of vents 11 in the form of a slit. A gas guide 12 is positioned on the floor of the annular cage 10 around the outlet of the gas pipe 13 in order to distribute gas evenly in the burner 1. The annular cage 10 is installed on a frame of a barbecue stove by means of a bracket 14.

The annular cover 15 includes a ceiling and an internal wall extending down from and around the ceiling. Formed on the ceiling of the annular cover 15 is a conductor 16 in and along which a channel 160 is defined. Defined in the internal wall of the annular cover 15 is a plurality of orifices 150 for venting a small portion of the gas that can be ignited by means of the igniter 20.

A plurality of columns 17 is positioned on the floor of the annular cage 10. The columns 17 are directed through a space within the annular cover 15. A circular cover 18 is positioned on the columns 17. The circular cover 18 is in the form of a flat cone. The circular cover 18 shields an internal annular portion of the annular cover 15. Therefore, in barbecuing, sauce and juice drop onto the annular cover 15 and flow in an outward sense of every radial direction, and do not affect the igniter 20.

The igniter 20 is installed within the internal edge of the annular cover 15 by means of a mount 25. The igniter 20 includes a working tip 21 directed to the channel 160 of the annular cover 15 of the burner 1. The working tip 21 of the igniter 20 charges the conductor 16 so that arcs occur between the working tip 21 of the igniter 20 and the conductor 16 in order to ignite the small amount of the fuel that vents from the orifices 150. The flame goes from the orifices 150 to the vents 11 through the channel 160.

Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, the igniter 20 is shielded by means of the burner 1 and the circular cover 18 so that the igniter 20 will not get wet of water when the burning set is washed. The following operation of the igniter 20 will not be affected. Thus, the burning set can easily be cleaned without affects on the following operation of the igniter 20.

In operation, only an external annular portion of the annular cover 15 is exposed to the sauce and the juice. The washing of the burning set can be done on the external annular portion of the annular cover 15 and will not be hindered by means of the igniter 20. The igniter 20 will not be wetted.

The present invention has been described via detailed illustration of the preferred embodiment. Those skilled in the art can derive variations from the preferred embodiment without departing from the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the preferred embodiment shall not limit the scope of the present invention defined in the claims.
