Claims
- 1. A business management method with interactions between a direct electrical energy supplier, a plurality of indirect energy suppliers, and a plurality of customer energy consumers, said direct electrical energy supplier being the direct supplier of electricity to said customer energy consumers, and said indirect energy suppliers being indirect suppliers of said customer energy consumers by supplying the direct electrical energy supplier, said method comprising the steps of:
said consumers providing respective electricity load profiles to said direct electrical energy supplier; said direct electrical energy supplier aggregating said respective projected electricity load profiles; said direct electrical energy supplier, in a low asking electrical energy price situation, generating economically advantageous specials for said situation taking account of said projected electricity load profiles; said direct electrical energy supplier deciding which ones of said specials to offer to which consumers, taking account of said projected electricity load profiles; said consumers reviewing said specials offered by said direct electrical energy supplier; said consumers reserving desirable specials with said direct electrical energy supplier; and said direct electrical energy supplier acting on said specials reservations to negotiate a price with said indirect energy supplier for providing electricity as specified in said specials to said consumers.
- 2. A business management method as recited in claim 1, wherein said direct electrical energy supplier, while offering specials to consumers, requests other consumers to shed load.
- 3. A business management method as recited in claim 2, wherein if more load can be shed than is required by a limited supply, the balance is offered for sale on an energy exchange.
- 4. A business management method as recited in claim 3, including a step, upon a finding of significant modifying of said profiles, of sharing information on said significant modifying of said profiles between any of said direct electrical energy supplier and said plurality of customer energy consumers.
- 5. A business management method as recited in claim 3, including a step, upon a finding of significant modifying of said profiles, of sharing information on said significant modifying of said profiles with third parties.
- 6. A business management system as recited in claim 1, wherein said step of said direct electrical energy supplier informing said consumers of said specials is performed by way of a Web site;
said step of said consumers reserving desirable specials with said direct electrical energy supplier is performed on the Web; and
said step of said direct electrical energy supplier acting on said reserving to negotiate a price with said indirect energy supplier for providing electricity as specified in said specials to said consumers is optionally performed as a Web auction.
