Claims
- 1. A business management method for trading in load estimations with interaction between an electrical energy supplier and a plurality of customer energy consumers, said method comprising the steps of:
grouping said plurality of customers into respective customer circles such that each circle comprises a number of customers engaged in similar activities; developing respective load profiles for each of said customer circles for a predetermined period past; inputting said respective load profiles to an aggregate load profile estimator for providing an aggregate load estimate; and trading in said load estimate.
- 2. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 1, comprising a step of trading in said aggregate load estimate confidentially between sender and recipient.
- 3. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 1, comprising a step of trading in said aggregate load estimate within a customer circle of said respective customer circles.
- 4. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 1, comprising a step of trading in said aggregate load estimate with electrical energy suppliers.
- 5. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 1, comprising a step of trading in said aggregate load estimate with any of electric power distribution companies, power generation companies, brokers, and suppliers.
- 6. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 5, comprising a step of inputting risk parameters to said aggregate load profile estimator for use in providing said aggregate load estimate.
- 7. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 6, wherein said step of inputting risk parameters to said aggregate load profile estimator comprises a step of inputting variance.
- 8. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 1, wherein said step of developing respective load profiles comprises a step of using historical meter data.
- 9. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 8, wherein said step of using historical meter data comprises a step of remotely acquiring said meter data.
- 10. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 1, wherein said predetermined period past is in the order of a month.
- 11. A business management method for load estimation with interaction between an electrical energy supplier and a plurality of customer energy consumers, said method comprising the steps of:
grouping said plurality of customers into respective customer circles such that each circle comprises a number of customers engaged in similar activities; developing respective historical load profiles for each of said customer circles for a predetermined period past; inputting said respective load historical profiles to an aggregate load profile estimator; inputting near past load profiles to said aggregate load profile estimator, said near past being recent as compared with said predetermined period past; providing an aggregate load estimate by said aggregate load profile estimator utilizing said historical load profiles and said near past load profiles; and trading in said aggregate load estimate.
- 12. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, comprising a step of trading in said aggregate load estimate confidentially between sender and recipient.
- 13. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, comprising a step of trading in said aggregate load estimate within a customer circle of said respective customer circles.
- 13. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, comprising a step of trading in said aggregate load estimate with electrical energy suppliers.
- 14. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, comprising a step of trading in said aggregate load estimate with any of electric power distribution companies, power generation companies, brokers, and suppliers.
- 15. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, comprising a step of inputting risk parameters to said aggregate load profile estimator for use in providing said aggregate load estimate.
- 16. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, comprising a step of inputting weather data to said aggregate load profile estimator for use in providing said aggregate load estimate.
- 17. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, comprising a step of inputting the current calendar date to said aggregate load profile estimator for use in providing said aggregate load estimate.
- 18. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, comprising a step of inputting risk parameters, weather data, and the current calendar date to said aggregate load profile estimator for use in providing said aggregate load estimate.
- 19. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 18, wherein said step of inputting risk parameters to said aggregate load profile estimator comprises a step of inputting variance.
- 20. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, wherein said step of developing respective load profiles comprises a step of using historical meter data.
- 21. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 20, wherein said step of using historical meter data comprises a step of remotely acquiring said meter data.
- 22. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, wherein said step of developing respective inputting near past load profiles comprises a step of using current meter data.
- 23. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 22, wherein said step of using current meter data comprises a step of remotely acquiring said meter data.
- 24. A business management method for load estimation as recited in claim 11, wherein said predetermined period past is in the order of a month.
