Abstract
A cable protection and guide device includes an engagement mechanism for securing connecting plates in a bridged arrangement over flexional inner and outer circumferential sides of side plates of the device. The connecting plates are not inadvertently disengaged because the engagement mechanism includes several features for securing the connecting plates to the side plates. The connecting plate engagement mechanism has a louver body and a louver type connecting plate which pivots about a pair of right and left supporting shafts which are formed at both ends of the louver type connecting plate. The louver type connecting plate is attachably fitted onto the pair of right and left side plates.

Claims
  • 1. A cable protection and guide device comprising: a plurality of pairs of right and left spaced side plates and a plurality of louver type connecting plates; said side plates are connected to each other in a longitudinal direction; said side plates have a flexional inner circumferential side and a flexional outer circumferential side; each of said louver type connecting plates includes a louver body, a right end portion having a right supporting shaft extending therefrom, and a left end portion having a left supporting shaft extending therefrom; said plurality of said louver type connecting plates are detachably bridged over said flexional inner circumferential sides and said flexional outer circumferential sides of said side plates in predetermined intervals; said side plates and said louver type connecting plates form a cable accommodating space along said longitudinal direction; a plurality of connecting plate engagement mechanisms for engaging said plurality of connecting to plates to said plurality of said pairs of right and left side plates; each said connecting plate engagement mechanism residing between said louver type connecting plate and said side plate; and, each of said louver bodies is pivoted about said pair of right and left supporting shafts; said pair of right and left supporting shafts are attachably fitted onto said pair of right and left side plates which secure said louver body to said connecting plate engagement mechanism.
  • 2. A cable protection and guide device according to claim 1, wherein: each of said side plates includes: a fitting shaft hole; an inner side; and a tongue piece supporting portion; said tongue piece supporting portion of said side plate is formed on said inner side of said side plate; and, each of said connecting plate engagement mechanisms includes: a width direction positioning portion wherein said supporting shafts of said louver type connecting plate and said fitting shaft holes in said side plates are engaged with each other in a partially cut out concave portion/convex portion combination arrangement; a pivot restricting portion wherein said supporting shaft of said louver type connecting plate and said fitting shaft hole in said side plate are engaged with each other in a partially cut out concave portion/convex portion combination arrangement; and, a bridge state holding portion in which said louver body of said louver type connecting plate engages said tongue piece supporting portion in a partially cut out concave portion/convex portion combination arrangement.
  • 3. A cable protection and guide device according to claim 2, characterized in that both ends of said louver body abut on said inner sides of said side plates in a bridged state of said louver type connecting plate.
  • 4. A cable protection and guide device comprising: a louver type connecting plate, a pair of right and left side plates; each of said pair of right and left side plates has a flexional inner circumferential side and a flexional outer circumferential side; said louver type connecting plate includes a louver body and first and second end portions; said end portions each include a connecting plate engagement mechanism; each of said connecting plate engagement mechanisms includes an arc-shaped supporting shaft; said louver type connecting plates are detachably bridged over said flexional inner circumferential sides and said flexional outer circumferential sides of said side plates; said connecting plate engagement mechanisms includes: a width direction positioning portion wherein said side plates include an arc-shaped recess and said arc-shaped supporting shafts are engaged with each other; a pivot restricting portion wherein said arc-shaped supporting shaft of said louver type connecting plate and said arc-shaped recess in said side plate each include abutting stops thereon for interengagement with each other and limiting rotation of said supporting shaft; a bridge state holding portion in which said connecting plate engagement mechanism includes a holding portion and said side plate includes a tongue piece supporting portion; and, wherein said holding portion of said connecting plate engagement mechanism interengages said tongue piece of said side plate preventing said louver type connecting plate from disengaging said side plates.
