Claims
- 1. A brightness measuring apparatus comprising:
- a brightness measuring circuit repeatedly for measuring brightness of a subject and outputting data of measured brightness;
- subject-image-shake detecting circuit for detecting an amount of subject image shake;
- a comparator for comparing whether the detected amount of the subject-image shake detected by said subject-image-shake detecting circuit is greater than a predetermined value; and
- a control circuit for prohibiting update of said measured brightness data when the amount of subject-image shake is greater than said predetermined value.
- 2. The brightness measuring apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said brightness measuring circuit measures brightness of a plurality of areas including the brightness measuring area corresponding to the center of the subject and outputs the measured brightness value of only the center area as a spot brightness measuring data.
- 3. The brightness measuring apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said control circuit prohibits output of said spot brightness measuring data when the amount of subject-image-shake is greater than said predetermined value.
- 4. The brightness measuring apparatus according to claim 2, further comprising operating means indicating a spot brightness measuring mode and wherein said control circuit prohibits updating of said brightness measuring data when said spot brightness measuring mode is indicated and the amount of the subject-image-shake is greater than the predetermined value.
- 5. The brightness measuring apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a correcting circuit for correcting the subject-image-shake based on output from the subject-image-shake detecting circuit.
- 6. A brightness measuring apparatus comprising:
- a brightness measuring circuit outputting brightness measuring data from brightness measuring area of the center of a subject as a spot measuring data;
- a subject-image-shake detecting circuit detecting an amount of subject-image-shake;
- a comparator determining whether the amount of the subject-image-shake detected by said subject-image-shake detecting circuit is greater than a predetermined value; and
- a control circuit prohibiting exposure control based on said spot brightness measuring data when said amount of subject-image-shake is greater than said predetermined value.
- 7. The brightness measuring apparatus according to claim 6, further comprising a correcting circuit correcting the subject-image-shake based on output from said subject-image-shake detecting circuit.
- 8. A method of measuring brightness of a subject comprising the steps of:
- repeatedly outputting brightness measuring data by measuring brightness of a subject;
- detecting an amount of subject-image-shake;
- determining whether the amount of detected subject-image-shake is greater than a predetermined value; and
- prohibiting updating of said brightness measuring data when the amount of subject-image-shake is greater than the predetermined value.
