Claims
- 1. An image pickup system comprising:
- (a) an image pickup device for transducing an optical picture image information into an electric picture image information and storing the information;
- (b) light incidence control means for controlling light incident on the picture recording device;
- (c) means for driving the image pickup device and effecting storage of a predetermined electric picture image information in the image pickup device;
- (d) trigger means; and
- (e) means for starting the light incidence control means in response to the output of the trigger means, and for controlling the image pickup device drive means so as to start the storing of the electric picture image information in the image pickup device a predetermined time after the start of the light incidence control means.
- 2. An image pickup system according to claim 1, wherein the light incidence control means controls the amount of the light incidence to the image pickup device.
- 3. An image pickup system according to claim 1, wherein the control means includes delay means for producing a signal for controlling the image pickup device drive means after a predetermined time in response to the trigger means.
- 4. An image pickup system according to claim 1, wherein said image pickup device is arranged to clear the electric picture information in said pickup device, prior to storing of the electric picture image information.
- 5. A still video camera, comprising:
- (a) image pickup means arranged to transduce a picture image of an object into an electric image signal and to store said image signal;
- (b) a light measuring circuit for detecting a brightness of the object;
- (c) recording means for recording the image signal of said image pickup means;
- (d) a release operating member for indicating a start of operation of recording a still image of said image signal on said recording means;
- (e) image pickup time control means for controlling an image pickup time of said image pickup means; and
- (f) control means arranged to clear a useless electric charge of said image pickup means in response to an operation of said release operating member, thereby starting a storing operation of a new still image, and to control at least said image pickup time control means in response to a light measuring information coming from said light measuring circuit, thereby controlling an amount of the image signal stored by said image pickup means after clearing said useless electric charge, to a predetermined amount, and then record said still image on the recording means by reading the image signal of said image pickup means.
- 6. A still video camera according to claim 5, further comprising:
- record gating means arranged between said image pickup means and said recording means to selectively conduct the image signal of the image pickup means to said recording means.
- 7. A still video camera according to claim 6, wherein said control means is arranged to record the image signal on the recording means by effecting conduction of said gating means only for a predetermined time.
- 8. A still video camera according to claim 5, further comprising:
- flash light means for lighting up the object in response to the clearing effected by said control means.
- 9. A still video camera according to claim 5, wherein said image pickup time control means is arranged to control a time to transduce the image of the object into the image signal.
- 10. A still video camera according to claim 5, further comprising:
- further control means for controlling an amount of incident light incident on said image pickup means in response to a light measuring information coming from said light measuring circuit, dependent upon an operating member.
- 11. An image pickup device comprising:
- (a) image pickup means for transducing an image of an object into an electric image signal;
- (b) indicating means for indicating a start of an image pickup operation of said image pickup means;
- (c) clearing means for clearing a useless signal in the image pickup means in response to an output of said indicating means;
- (d) controlling means for controlling a state of the image signal formed by said image pickup means so that the state of the image signal after operation of said clearing means becomes a predetermined state; and
- (e) lighting means for lighting up the object in synchronizing relation to the output of said control means.
- 12. An image pickup device according to claim 11, wherein said indicating means includes a manually operable member.
- 13. An image pickup device according to claim 11, wherein said control means includes an exposure control member for controlling an amount of light incident on said image pickup means.
- 14. An image pickup device according to claim 13, wherein said exposure control member includes a diaphragm member.
- 15. An image pickup device according to claim 11, wherein said lighting means is arranged to effect flash lighting.
- 16. An image pickup device according to claim 11, further comprising:
- recording means arranged to read out the image signal, which has been controlled to the predetermined state by said control means, after lighting of said lighting means, and then record said image signal.
