Claims
- 1. A camera capable of detecting camera shake, comprising:
- detecting means for detecting camera shake repeatedly;
- calculating means for calculating a moving speed of subject image based on the detected camera shake;
- an optical system operable to correct the camera shake;
- driving means for driving said optical system; and
- predicting means for predicting an amount of drive of said driving means to be driven based on the calculated moving speed and an interval of the camera shake detection.
- 2. A camera as stated in claim 1, wherein said predicting means includes means for calculating an error between a position of said optical system and a position of the subject image after said driving means drives said optical system for the predicted amount of drive.
- 3. A camera as stated in claim 7 wherein said predicting means newly predicts an amount of drive of said driving means in consideration of the error each time said detecting means newly detects camera shake.
- 4. A camera as stated in claim 1, further comprising image sensing means for converting the subject image into electric signals, wherein said detecting means detects camera shake based on the electric signals.
- 5. A camera as stated in claim 4, further comprising means for dividing the path of light passing through the optical system into a first path for guiding light to a film plane and a second path for guiding light to the image sensing means, wherein said detecting means detects camera shake during an exposure operation based on the light guided to the image sensing means.
- 6. A camera capable of detecting camera shake, comprising:
- detecting means for detecting camera shake repeatedly;
- an optical system operable to correct the camera shake;
- driving means for driving said optical system;
- first calculating means for calculating a moving speed of subject image based on the detected camera shake;
- second calculating means for calculating an error between a position of said optical system and a position of the subject image;
- predicting means for predicting a driving amount of said driving means based on the calculated moving speed, an interval of the camera shake detection, and the calculated error each time said detecting means newly detects a camera shake; and
- producing means for producing a weighting coefficient to change a weight of the error in predicting the driving amount.
- 7. A camera as stated in claim 6, wherein said weighting coefficient varies in accordance with an amount of the calculated error.
- 8. A camera as stated in claim 6, further comprising image sensing means for converting the subject image into electric signals, wherein said detecting means detects camera shake based on the electric signals.
- 9. A camera as stated in claim 8, further comprising means for dividing the path of light passing through the optical system into a first path for guiding light to a film plane and a second path for guiding light to the image sensing means, wherein said detecting means detects camera shake during an exposure operation based on the light guided to the image sensing means.
