Claims
- 1. A zoom camera comprising:
- a lens that is movable between a housed position and an arbitrary position in a photography range;
- a lens moving system that drives said lens;
- a lens barrier having opened and closed conditions;
- a lens barrier operation system that opens and closes said lens barrier,
- said lens moving system and said lens barrier operation system being driven by distinct motive power sources;
- a detection system that detects if the lens barrier has changed from the closed condition to the open condition; and
- a control system that controls said lens moving system and said lens barrier operation system,
- wherein said control system enables said lens moving system to move said lens to said arbitrary position only when said lens barrier is in said opened condition.
- 2. The zoom camera according to claim 1, wherein the control system prevents said lens moving system from moving the lens to the arbitrary position only when the lens barrier is in the closed condition.
- 3. The zoom camera according to claim 1, each of said motive power sources comprising a motor.
- 4. A zoom camera comprising:
- a lens that is movable between a housed position and an arbitrary position in a photography range;
- a lens moving system that drives the lens;
- a lens barrier having opened and closed conditions;
- a lens barrier operation system that opens and closes the lens barrier:
- said lens moving system and said lens barrier operation system being driven by distinct motive power sources;
- a detection system that detects that the lens is moved from said arbitrary position to the housed position; and
- a control system that controls said lens moving system and said lens barrier operation system,
- wherein said control system enables said lens barrier operation svstem to close said lens barrier only when said lens is at said housed position.
- 5. The zoom camera according to claim 4, wherein the control system prevents the lens barrier operation system from closing the lens barrier when the lens is not at the housed position.
- 6. The zoom camera according to claim 4, each of said motive power sources comprising a motor.
- 7. A zoom camera comprising:
- a lens that is movable between a housed position and an arbitrary position in a photography range;
- a lens moving system that drives said lens;
- a lens barrier having opened and closed conditions;
- a lens barrier operation system that opens and closes said lens barrier, said lens moving system and said lens barrier operation system being driven by distinct motive power sources;
- a first detection system that detects if said lens barrier has been moved from said closed condition to said opened condition;
- a second detection system that detects that said lens has been moved from said arbitrary position to said housed position; and
- control system that controls said lens moving system and said lens barrier operation system,
- wherein said control system enables said lens moving system to move said lens to said arbitrary position only when said lens barrier is in said opened condition, and
- wherein said control system enables said lens barrier operation system to close said lens barrier only when said lens is at said housed position.
- 8. The zoom camera according to claim 7, each of said motive power sources comprising a motor.
