The object of the present invention is, as the title of the invention states, a cap for moisturising and treating hair ends, which allows a certain treatment to be applied to the hair gathered inside the cap.
Characteristic of the present invention is the special design and configuration of the cap, which makes it a practical and simple element in its design and treatment application.
The present invention therefore falls within the scope of caps specially designed for applying treatments to the hair, particularly to the ends.
Hair caps are well known in the state of the art. There are also caps for applying treatments to the hair, e.g., caps to protect the hair after the application of an anti-lice product, which is applied to all hair and covers the entire scalp.
However, there are no known caps that allow treatments to be applied to the ends of the hair, allowing the hair to be treated to be held securely and independently from the rest of the hair.
Therefore, the object of the present invention is to develop a cap that allows the part of the hair to be treated to be held securely in order to be able to apply treatments, developing a cap as described below and which is essentially set out in the first claim.
The object of the present invention is a cap for moisturising and treating hair ends, characterised in that it comprises an inner element, preferably, but not limited to being, circular in shape, which is surrounded by another optional outer element, both elements being joined by an annular fastening area provided with an inner channel through which runs a tape, rubber or string whose ends emerge from said inner channel through openings so that by pulling on both ends of the string the inner element, and therefore the hairs housed therein, is closed and tightened.
If the cap has an outer element, its shape may be circular, polygonal, such as a hexagon, or even both the inner and outer element may take a circular shape concentric with a missing circular sector.
The material of manufacture, especially of the inner element, shall be made of a material resistant to high temperatures, which is the material that will contain the hair to be treated.
The method of use is to place the hair to be treated in the area of the inner element as centrally as possible and start pulling the ends of the tape or string, so that the hair to be treated is held and enclosed in the closed volume defined by the inner element, so that said hair can receive the necessary moisture or treatment of the ends.
Unless otherwise stated, all technical and scientific elements used herein have the meaning usually understood by a person skilled in the art to which this invention pertains. In the practice of the present invention, processes and materials similar or equivalent to those described herein may be used.
Throughout the description and claims, the word “comprise” and its variants are not intended to exclude other technical features, additives, components or steps. For those skilled in the art, other objects, advantages and features of the invention may be deduced from both the description and the practical use of the invention.
As a complement to the present description, and for the purpose of helping to make the features of the invention more readily understandable, in accordance with a preferred practical exemplary embodiment thereof, said description is accompanied by a set of drawings constituting an integral part of the same, which by way of illustration and not limitation represent the following.
With reference to the figures, a preferred embodiment of the invention proposed is described below.
The outer element (2) is optional and complementary, and the invention can be implemented with only the inner element (1) and the annular fastening area (3).
The geometry of the inner element (1) is preferably, but not limited to being, circular, while the geometry of the outer element (2) can be polygonal, among which it could adopt a hexagonal shape, as shown in
Preferably, but not limited to, if the diameter of the inner element (1) is “X”, as shown in
Having thus adequately described the nature of the present invention, as well as how to put it into practice, it must be noted that, within its essential nature, the invention may be carried out according to other embodiments differing in detail from that set out by way of example, which the protection sought would equally cover, provided that the fundamental principle thereof is not altered, changed or modified.
