The present invention relates to a card wallet for a mobile phone, which is used in the state of being attached to a mobile phone to prevent loss thereof and which allows a card to be easily taken out thereof.
Generally, a wallet is used by a user so as to allow the user to carry cash, cards and the like in the state of being received in the wallet. Although cash such as bills and coins were mainly used in the past, users who use cards, such as credit cards, transportation cards and credit cards combined with transportation cards, as main payment means are gradually increasing with the propagation of electronic payment systems.
Accordingly, because card wallets become essential goods of modern people, most people carry a card wallet at all times.
However, because a card wallet configured to receive therein only cards is small in size, loss of the card wallet due to negligence while the card wallet is repeatedly put in and taken out of a pocket of an item of clothing frequently occurs.
Furthermore, in the case of manufacturing a card wallet having a compact size corresponding to a card, because it is difficult to pick a card with user's fingers when the user takes the card out of the card wallet, the card is not easily taken out of the card wallet. In particular, when payment is conducted via a card during driving of a vehicle, there is a problem whereby safe driving is interrupted.

The present invention relates to a card wallet for a mobile phone, which is capable of being attached to a mobile phone so as to prevent loss thereof and of allowing cards to be easily taken out thereof.
Hereinafter, the card wallet for a mobile phone according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings,
Referring to
The rear part 10 may be configured to have a rectangular shape corresponding to a typical card, and may be the portion that is in surface contact with the rear surface of the mobile phone. The front part 20 may be disposed so as to be opposed to the rear part 10 in the state of being spaced apart therefrom by a predetermined distance such that a reception space for receiving therein a card C is defined between the rear part 10 and the front part 20. Here, the front part 20 may be formed shorter than the rear part 10 in longitudinal length such that the upper end of the card C is exposed from the card wallet so as to be taken out of the card wallet with user's fingers when the card C is inserted into the reception space.
Furthermore, the connection part 30 may be formed between the rear part 10 and the front part 20 in such a manner as to extend from the front part 20 and to be coupled at the end thereof to the rear part 10 so as to close the lateral sides and the lower sides of the reception space. Consequently, the reception space may be open at the upper side thereof and may be closed at the lateral sides and the lower side thereof so as to define the reception space therebetween to receive therein cards.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a magnet member (not shown) may be provided at the rear part 10 in order to detachably attach the rear part to a mobile phone using magnetic attraction. The magnetic member may be composed of a circular permanent magnet. Here, the permanent magnet may preferably be configured to have a thin plate shape and be closely attached to the inner side of the outer surface of the rear part 10 so as to prevent increase in thickness of the card wallet.
Accordingly, according to the embodiment of the present invention, since the card wallet is easily and securely attached to a mobile phone, for example, an iPhone of Apple Inc. which is supported by a Magsafe function, it is possible to prevent loss of the card wallet due to negligence which would otherwise occur while the card wallet is frequently and repeatedly put into and taken out of a pocket of an item of clothing.
According to the embodiment of the present invention, a holding band 40 may be provided in the reception space in the card wallet 100 in order to prevent cards from escaping from the card wallet. The holding band 40 may be fixed at one end thereof in the reception space and may extend over the outer surface of the front part 20. Here, the portion of the holding band 40 that extends outwards may close a portion of the upper opening of the reception space, thereby preventing the card from escaping from the reception space.
In connection therewith,
Hereinafter, the holding band 40 will be described in detail with reference to
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the holding band 40 may be composed of a band having an elongated strip shape. The holding band 40 may include a fixed end 41 fixed to a lower portion of the inner surface of the front part 20, a U-shaped bent portion 42, which extends downwards from the fixed end 41 and then extends to the lower portion of the inner surface of the rear part 10 via the bottom surface of the reception space, an inner movable portion 43, which extends upwards from the U-shaped bent portion 42 and is movable in a vertical direction by external force, an extending portion 44, which extends upwards from the inner movable portion 43 and projects to the outside of the reception space, and an outer coupling portion 45, which extends from the extending portion 44 to close the upper opening of the reception space.
According to the embodiment of the present invention, the end of the outer coupling portion 45 may be provided with a magnet member, and a portion of the upper portion of the front part 20 may be provided with a magnetic body. As a result, since the end of the outer coupling portion 45 is attached to the portion of the upper portion of the outer surface of the front part 20 by magnetic attraction, the holding band 40 closes the upper opening of the reception space. Here, the locations of the magnetic member and the magnetic body may be reversed.
In the embodiment, the magnetic member may be composed of a circular plate-shaped permanent magnet while the magnetic body may be composed of a plate-shaped metal. Examples of the metal may include iron, nickel or cobalt which is a ferromagnetic body.
As illustrated in
When the card C is picked and taken out of the card wallet with user's fingers, the case in which the user's fingers catch on the rear part 10 and thus the card C is not easily taken out of the card wallet frequently occurs because the card C is in close contact with the rear part 10.
Accordingly, the present invention has a technical characteristic in that the holding band 40 is first pulled upwards with user's finger such that the upper end of the card C is exposed to the outside of the card wallet 100, that is, to the outside of the rear part 10 by a predetermined height before the card C is taken out of the card wallet 100, thereby allowing the card C to be easily picked by fingers and to be easily taken out of the card wallet 100.
In connection therewith,
Referring to
According to the embodiment of the present invention, the inner surface of the rear part 10 may be provided with a guide member 50, which is configured to guide the movement of the inner movable portion 43 in the state in which the inner movable portion 43 is in close contact with the rear part 10. In the embodiment, the guide member 50 may be composed of a close contact cover, which covers the inner movable portion 43 from the outside and pushes the inner movable portion 43 toward the rear part 10 to bring the inner movable portion 43 into close contact with the inner surface of the rear part 10.
In the embodiment, because one end of the U-shaped bent portion 42 extends to the lower end of the close contact cover, the lower end of the close contact cover 50 is preferably positioned higher than the fixed end 41 of the holding band 40 in order to increase the lifting height of the card C.
Consequently, according to the embodiment of the present invention, because the upper end of the card C becomes exposed from the rear part 10 by a predetermined height when the card C is taken out of the card wallet 100, it is possible to allow a user to easily pick the card C with his/her fingers and then take the card C out of the card wallet 100 with ease.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the inner surface of the U-shaped bent portion 42 may be provided near the front part 20 with a support protrusion 70, which supports and raises the lower end of the card C to increase the lifting height of the card C.
Referring to
After the card C is completely taken out of the card wallet 100, the inner movable portion 43 is in the state of being moved upwards together with the U-shaped bent portion 42. Accordingly, in order to restore the inner movable portion 43 and the U-shaped bent portion 42 to the original positions, the card C must be pushed into the reception space.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, an elastic member 60 may further be provided between the lower portion of the inner movable portion 43 and the lower end of the rear part 10 and be connected thereto so as to provide the pulled inner movable portion 43 with a restoring force. Consequently, after the card C is completely taken out of the card wallet 100, the inner movable portion 43 and the U-shaped bent portion 42 are automatically restored to the original positions by the restoring force of the elastic member 60.
As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, since the card wallet is attached to the rear surface of a mobile phone by magnetic attraction, there is an effect of being capable of preventing loss of the mobile phone due to negligence while the small-sized card wallet is repeatedly put into and taken out of a pocket of a clothing.
Furthermore, according to the present invention, since the holding band is pulled upwards and thus the upper end of a card is exposed to the outside of the card wallet by a predetermined height before the card is taken out of the card wallet, there is an effect of being capable of allowing the card to be easily picked and be taken out of the card wallet with user's fingers.
In addition, according to the present invention, since the lower portion of the holding band is provided with the support protrusion configured to support the lower end of a card in order to support and raise the card, there is an effect of being capable of more efficiently exposing the card from the card wallet.
The present invention relates to a card wallet for a mobile phone. According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent loss of the card wallet because the card wallet is used in the state of being attached to the mobile phone. Furthermore, since the upper end of a card is first exposed to the outside from the card wallet when the card is taken out of the card wallet, there is an effect of being capable of allowing the card to be easily taken out of the card wallet.
Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
