The present invention relates to carpet installation technology, and more particularly to a carpet metal sticker for fixing a carpet and a carpet fixing structure.
A PVC carpet is a carpet manufactured by using polyvinyl chloride resin material. Specifically, it uses polyvinyl chloride and its copolymer resin as the main raw material which is added fillers, plasticizers, stabilizers, colorants and other auxiliary materials. The polyvinyl chloride resin material is formed on a substrate which is a continuous plate by uniform mixing, coating process or pressing/flattening and extrusion process. The PVC carpets can be used instead of pure wool carpets and chemical fiber carpets, and it have characteristics of soft texture, bright colors, comfortable and durable, easy to clean, non-flammable, self-extinguishing, and moisture resistance. Therefore, they are especially suitable for hotels, shopping malls, stages, etc. As its good water resistance and slip resistance, the PVC carpets can effectively prevent the carpet from shifting. Therefore, it is especially suitable for using in the bathroom. In addition, the PVC carpet can further pursue the latest fashion and popular decoration after meeting practical needs since it has unique R&D and production processes.
As a result, the PVC carpets are laid in more and more environments. Recently, the PVC carpets are glued to the ground by glue. It is well known that when installing the PVC carpets on the floor, some glue is firstly sprinkle on the floor and it will not cover the entire floor, but a small amount of glue will be sprayed at intervals. Therefore, when the PVC carpets are attached onto the floor and used for a long time, the phenomenon of warping and displacement will occur, which will affect the use of the PVC carpets.
Therefore, it is necessary to provide a carpet metal sticker which makes it possible to solve the above problem.

The carpet metal sticker 20 includes a base 21, four hook fixing-carpet areas 22 arranged on one side of the base 21, and an adhesive layer 23 disposed on the other side of the base 21. The base 21 may has a shape of round, square, or any other shape, which can be selected according to the shape of the actual. In the embodiment, the base 21 has a shape of square and only is used for describing the structure of the carpet metal sticker 20. The base 21 can be made of metal or non-metal. When the base 21 is made of non-metal, it may be made of plastic, etc. which is easy for injection molding so as to increase material cost. And, when the base is made of metal, such as aluminum alloy, etc. it can reduce produce flow, which may be described in detail as follow. The four hook fixing-carpet areas 22 may have same or different structure and shape when the size of the installed carpet 10 is different. In the embodiment, the four hook fixing-carpet areas 22 have same structure and shape, that is to say, the four hook fixing-carpet areas 22 equally divide the base 21. On a square substrate 21, each of the hook fixing-carpet areas 22 may be square, that is to say, the four fixing-carpet areas 22 with a square shape combine into the base 21. Each of the hook fixing-carpet areas 22 may be triangle, that is to say, the four hook fixing-carpet areas 22 with a triangle shape combine into the base 21. Understandably, the hook fixing-carpet areas 22 may be an other polygons. In the embodiment, each of the hook fixing-carpet areas 22 has a shape of triangle and the triangle is isosceles triangle and a base of the triangle is the side length of the base 21. The four hook fixing-carpet areas 22 intersect at a central point 24, and the base 21 further includes a central axis 211 passing through the central point 24 and being perpendicular to the plane of the base 21. The central point 24 is used as a reference to install the carpet 10. That is to say, when the carpet 10 is installed, the corners of the four carpets 10 should be located on the center point 24 as much as possible so as to insure stability of the carpet 10. The central axis 211 is used as a reference to set following hook needle 221 provided on the hooking carpet area 22. Each of the hook fixing-carpet areas 22 includes a plurality of hook needle 221 extending from the base 21 and being made of metal material. An angle between an extension direction of the hook needle 221 and the central axis 211 is an acute angle, and the acute angle is between 70 degrees and 80 degrees. In the embodiment, the angle between the extension direction of the hook needle 221 and the central axis 211 is 75 degrees. The standard for setting the angle is that the hook needle 221 can be inserted into the composite back layer 11 of the carpet 10, and not extend out of the composite back layer 11 even if a hammer is use to hit the carpet 10 toward the carpet metal sticker 20. Therefore, a length of hook needle 221 taken along the extension direction thereof is equal to a thickness of the composite back layer 11. As a result, in any case, the hook needle 221 will not extend out of the composite back layer 11 and do not enter into the surface layer 12. The hook needle 221 may be made of aluminum alloy. Specifically, the hook needle 221 and the base 21 are integrally formed and the base 21 is made of metal, such as aluminum alloy. Understandably, the hook needle 221 can be punched out from the base 21 by stamping. This manufacturing method can reduce the process flow and save the manufacturing cost. Moreover, the hook needle 221 can also be fixed onto the base 21 by welding, riveting or the like. If the base 21 is made of non-metal material, the plurality of the hook needle 221 should be welded into the base 21 when the base is molded. Understandably, each of the hook needle 221 should have a tip and the tip can be easily inserted into the composite back layer 11. The tips of the hook needles 221 are sharp and have elasticity and hardness, so that they can pass cross the composite back layer 11 which is made from PVC, asphalt, or non-woven fabric. The hook needles 221 on each of the hook fixing-carpet areas 22 should be arranged at intervals, so that the hook needles 221 and the composite backing layer 11 can be coupled to each other.
The adhesive layer 23 can a suitable double-side tape in the prior art, and the double-side tape can use different glue at the different applications. Understandably, if the carpet metal sticker 20 is not used, a release paper layer is adhered to the adhesive layer 23. When the carpet metal sticker 20 is used, the release paper layer should be tear off firstly. Then, the side of the base 21 with the adhesive layer 23 is adhesived onto a floor, such as cement floor, wooden floor, porcelain tile floor, metal floor and plastic floor, etc., so that the metal carpet sticker 20 can be fixed.
When the carpet 10 is installed, one corner of the carpet 10 is placed onto a corresponding one of the hook fixing-carpet areas 22 and a tool such as a hammer can be used to hit the surface layer 12 of the carpet 10. As a result, when the carpet 10 is fixed onto the carpet metal sticker 20, the hook needle 221 will be inserted into the composite back layer 11 and are bent and fallen as shown in
As described above, in the carpet fixing structure with the carpet metal sticker 20, the carpet metal sticker 20 is divided into the four hook fixing-carpet areas 22, and the four hook fixing-carpet areas 22 intersect at a central point 24. Therefore, when the carpet metal stickers 20 are fixed onto the floor and the four corners of the four carpet 10 are respectively attached to the four hook fixing-carpet areas 22, the four carpet 10 can be aggregated into a whole piece. Since each of the hook fixing-carpet areas 22 is provided with a plurality of hook needles 221 and the angle between the extension direction of the hook needles 221 and the central axis 211 of the base 21 is between 70 degrees and 80 degrees, the hook needles 221 can be inserted into the composite back layer 11 of the carpet 10 when the carpet 10 is placed onto the hook fixing-carpet areas 22 and is hit by a hammer. Since the length of the hook needle 221 taken along the extension direction thereof is equal to the thickness of the composite back layer 11, the hook needle will not extend out of the composite back layer 11. Moreover, the hook needle 221 will be bent and fallen during the carpet 10 is hit. As a result, the hook needle can buckle the composite back layer 11 of the carpet 10 so as to fix the carpet 10 onto the carpet metal sticker 20 and avoid the phenomenon of warping and displacement of the carpet 10.
