Claims
- 1. An image forming apparatus comprising:an image carrier; a transfer device located opposite to the image carrier which transfers an image to an object to which the image should be transferred; a carrying route having a corner part, a neighboring area of the corner part, and a substantially straight part, which carries the object from one side of the carrying route in which the image is transferred by the transfer device, to another side of the carrying route in which the object is introduced to the transfer device in a reversed state; a first pair of carrying rollers provided in an approximately central part of the substantially straight part of the carrying route and a second pair of carrying rollers provided in the neighboring area of the corner part; a detection sensor, provided between the first pair of carrying rollers and the second pair of carrying rollers, for detecting the object; and a control device for carrying the object to which the image should be transferred to the substantially straight part and should be stopped there when the object to which the image should be transferred and which is to be carried to the carrying route temporarily await, in a state where the detection sensor does not detect the object to which the image should be transferred.
- 2. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1comprising a second detection sensor, provided in an upstream side of the first pair of rollers with respect to a direction in which the object to which the image should be transferred is carried, wherein the control device causes the obiect to which the image should be transferred to temporarily stop in the substantially straight part of the carrying route, and not in the corner part and not in the neighboring area of the corner part, in a state where the second detection sensor does not detect the object to which the image should be transferred.
- 3. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1, comprising:a fixing part in a downstream side in an object carrying direction with respect to the transfer device, wherein the carrying route again guides the object to which the image should be transferred, one side of which an image is fixed to at the fixing part, to an introducing side of the transfer device which introduces the object to which the image should be transferred.
- 4. The image forming apparatus according to claim 3, wherein the substantially straight part of the carrying route, on which the control device temporarily stops and awaits the object to which the image should be transferred, is located in a downstream side in the object carrying direction with respect to a fixing part.
- 5. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1, comprising an alignment roller in an upstream side in an object carrying direction, whereinthe carrying route guides the object to which the image should be transferred, one side of which an image is fixed to at a fixing part, to the alignment roller.
- 6. The image forming apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the substantially straight part of the carrying route wherein the control device temporarily stops and awaits the object to which the image should be transferred is located in an upstream side of the object carrying direction with respect to the alignment roller.
- 7. An image forming apparatus comprising: image forming means for forming an image on an image carrier;transfer means for transferring the image formed by the image forming means to an object; carrying means for carrying an object to which an image should be transferred, one side of which an image is transferred to, along a carrying route having a corner part, a neighboring area of the corner part, and a substantially straight part again to the transfer means, in a state where the object to which the image should be transferred is reversed to the side of the transfer means to which the object to which the image should be transferred is introduced; a first pair of carrying rollers provided in an approximately central part of the substantially straight part of the carrying route and a second pair of carrying rollers provided in the neighboring area of the corner part; a detection sensor, provided between the first pair of carrying rollers and the second pair of carrying rollers, for detecting the object; and a control means for causing the object to which the image should be transferred to temporarily stop in the substantially straight part, and not in the corner part and not in the neighboring area of the corner part, in a state where the detection sensor does not detect the object to which the image should be transferred.
- 8. The image forming apparatus according to claim 7, comprising:an alignment means for aligning the object to which the image should be transferred, located in an upstream side in an object carrying direction with respect to the transfer means, and a fixing means for fixing an image transferred to the object to which the image should be transferred by the transfer means, wherein the carrying means carries the object to which the image should be transferred, one side of which an image is transferred to, again to the transferring means, by way of the fixing means, the carrying route, and the alignment means.
- 9. A method of forming an image comprising:forming an image on an object to which the image should be transferred; transferring the formed image on the object to which the image should be transferred by a transfer part; fixing the image to the object onto which the image should be transferred; carrying the object, to which the image should be transferred, to one side of which the image is fixed again to the transfer part along with a carrying route, structured by a corner part, a neighboring area of the corner part, and a substantially straight part, having a first pair of rollers in an approximately center part of the substantially straight part and a second pair of rollers in the neighboring area of the corner part, in a state where the object to which an image should be transferred is reversed to the transfer part; and controlling so as to cause the object to which the image should be transferred, in a state where a detection sensor provided between the first pair of rollers and the second pair of rollers does not detect the object to which the image should be transferred, to temporarily stop in the substantially straight part of the carrying route, and not in the corner part and not in the neighboring area of the corner part, in a state where the detection sensor does not detect the obiect to which the image should be transferred.
