Claims
- 1. A system for processing categorized answers to tests in order to facilitate teaching of material contained within the tests, the system comprising:
- a) receive means for electronically receiving a plurality of answers to test questions;
- b) organization means for electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories and for organizing the divided answers into separate groupings; and
- c) report means for electronically reporting the answers in the groupings.
- 2. The system of claim 1 wherein the organization means comprises means for electronically dividing the answers according to incorrect answers and for organizing the divided incorrect answers into separate groupings.
- 3. The system of claim 1 wherein the organization means comprises means for electronically dividing the answers according to correct answers and for organizing the divided correct answers into separate groupings.
- 4. The system of claim 1 wherein the organization means comprises means for electronically dividing the answers according to an analytic resolving process and for organizing the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 5. The system of claim 1 wherein the organization means comprises means for electronically dividing the answers according to spelling errors and for organizing the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 6. The system of claim 1 wherein the organization means comprises means for electronically dividing the answers according to punctuation errors and for organizing the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 7. The system of claim 1 wherein the receive means further comprises means for receiving the answers by obtaining electronic representations of the test answers.
- 8. A method for processing categorized answers to tests in order to facilitate teaching of material contained within the tests, the method comprising the steps of:
- a) electronically receiving a plurality of answers to test questions, the answers each comprising an electronic representation of at least a portion of a test answer;
- b) electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories and organizing the divided answers into separate groupings; and
- c) electronically reporting the answers in the groupings.
- 9. The method of claim 8 wherein:
- a) the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically including in each of the groupings the electronic representation of the test answer for a respondent; and
- b) the step of electronically reporting the answers comprises the step of reporting the electronic representations corresponding to the groupings.
- 10. The method of claim 8 wherein the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically dividing the answers according to incorrect answers and organizing the divided incorrect answers into separate groupings.
- 11. The method of claim 8 wherein the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically dividing the answers according to correct answers and organizing the divided correct answers into separate groupings.
- 12. The method of claim 8 wherein the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically dividing the answers according to an analytic resolving process and organizing the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 13. The method of claim 12 wherein the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically dividing the answers according to spelling errors and organizing the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 14. The method of claim 12 wherein the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically dividing the answers according to punctuation errors and organizing the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 15. A system for processing categorized answers to tests in order to facilitate teaching of material contained within the tests, the system comprising:
- a) a receiving subsystem configured to electronically receive a plurality of answers to test questions, the answers each comprising an electronic representation of at least a portion of a test answer;
- b) a dividing subsystem configured to electronically divide the answers according to predefined categories and to electronically organize the divided answers into separate groupings; and
- c) a reporting subsystem configured to electronically report the answers in the groupings.
- 16. The system of claim 15 wherein:
- a) the dividing subsystem is further configured to include in each of the groupings the electronic representation of the test answer for a respondent; and
- b) the reporting subsystem if further configured to report the electronic representations corresponding to the groupings.
- 17. The system of claim 15 wherein the dividing subsystem is further configured to electronically divide the answers according to incorrect answers and to organize the divided incorrect answers into separate groupings.
- 18. The system of claim 15 wherein the dividing subsystem is further configured to electronically divide the answers according to correct answers and to organize the divided correct answers into separate groupings.
- 19. The system of claim 15 wherein the dividing subsystem is further configured to electronically divide the answers according to an analytic resolving process and to organizing the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 20. The system of claim 19 wherein the dividing subsystem is further configured to electronically divide the answers according to spelling errors and to organize the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 21. The system of claim 19 wherein the dividing subsystem is further configured to electronically divide the answers according to punctuation errors and to organize the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 22. A computer-readable program storage medium tangibly embodying a data package and associated verification instructions executable by a computing system for processing categorized answers to tests in order to facilitate teaching of material contained within the tests by performing the steps of:
- a) electronically receiving a plurality of answers to test questions, the answers each comprising an electronic representation of at least a portion of a test answer;
- b) electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories and organizing the divided answers into separate groupings; and
- c) electronically reporting the answers in the groupings.
- 23. The computer-readable program storage medium of claim 22 wherein:
- a) the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically including in each of the groupings the electronic representation of the test answer for a respondent; and
- b) the step of electronically reporting the answers comprises the step of reporting the electronic representations corresponding to the groupings.
- 24. The computer-readable program storage medium of claim 22 wherein the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically dividing the answers according to incorrect answers and organizing the divided incorrect answers into separate groupings.
- 25. The computer-readable program storage medium of claim 22 wherein the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically dividing the answers according to correct answers and organizing the divided correct answers into separate groupings.
- 26. The computer-readable program storage medium of claim 22 wherein the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically dividing the answers according to an analytic resolving process and organizing the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 27. The computer-readable program storage medium of claim 26 wherein the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically dividing the answers according to spelling errors and organizing the divided answers into separate groupings.
- 28. The computer-readable program storage medium of claim 26 wherein the step of electronically dividing the answers according to predefined categories comprises the step of electronically dividing the answers according to punctuation errors and organizing the divided answers into separate groupings.
