Claims
- 1. A base station for executing radio communication by using a direct sequence CDMA system with a plurality of channels in a single carrier, comprising:
means for separating transmitting data into a plurality of channels; means for periodically inserting a pilot symbol into one of many channels including channels of said transmitting data; means for spreading to each channel by spreading codes assigned to the transmitting data and to the pilot symbol; means for multiplexing the spread transmitting data and each signal of the pilot symbol, and means for radio transmitting the multiplexed signals to a mobile station.
- 2. The base station according to claim 1, wherein said pilot symbol is periodically inserted into one of said plurality of channels of said transmitting data.
- 3. The base station according to claim 1, wherein said pilot symbol is periodically inserted into a channel different from a channel of said transmitting data.
- 4. The base station according to claim 1, wherein data transmission is not executed by an other channel in a transmitting period of said pilot symbol.
- 5. The base station according to claim 4, wherein a transmitting power of the transmission period of said pilot symbol is controlled so that the transmitting power is stronger than a transmitting power of each channel of a data transmission period of the other channels.
- 6. The base station according to claim 4, wherein a signal level of the pilot symbol before spreading is set at m times (m>1) a signal level of the transmitting data before spreading.
- 7. The base station according to claim 1, wherein control data and information data are transmitted by a different channel when the control data and the information data are included in said transmitting data.
- 8. The base station according to claim 1, wherein the transmitting data and pilot symbol separated into said plurality of channels are burst-transmitted by using one of TDD (Time Division Duplex) transmission and an intermittent transmission system.
- 9. The base station according to claim 8, wherein in one of said TDD transmission and said intermittent transmission system, a ramping signal is transmitted only by a channel that includes the pilot symbol.
- 10. The base station according to claim 1, wherein data transmission is executed by another channel in the transmitting period of said pilot symbol.
- 11. The base station according to claim 10, when said transmitting data include control data and information data, said control data and said information data being transmitted by different channels.
