Abstract
A centrifugal fan includes a housing and a blade assembly, wherein the blade assembly comprises a driving device and fan blades, and the fan blades have a rotation center; the housing is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet, and the housing covers the blade assembly to form a flow channel therein; the flow channel comprises a supercharging area and an opening area, wherein the first boundary between the supercharging area and the opening area is a line connecting the tongue and the center, and the second boundary between the supercharging area and the opening area is a line connecting the center and the end point of the arc-shaped side wall of the flow channel, and the opening area has a central angle greater than 180° with the center, so the centrifugal fan has a wider air outlet range and a larger air outlet volume.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The patent relates to the field of fans, and in particular to a centrifugal fan.


BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently, there are two types of fan classification, axial flow fans and centrifugal fans. An axial flow fan operates in such a way that air enters from the axial direction of the fan blades and also exits from the axial direction of the fan blades. A centrifugal fan operates in such a way that air enters from the axial direction of the fan blades, flows radially along the blades, converged and pressurized by the fan flow channel, and then flows out from the radial outlet.


As described in the Chinese patent (Patent No.: CN101377201A), the existing centrifugal fan has a small outlet angle and a small cross-sectional area, which results in a small air volume of the fan. In addition, due to the small outlet angle and the small opening area of the air outlet, the angle range of the supercharging area in the fan housing is larger. In order to discharge air more smoothly, the cross-sectional area of the airway on the outlet side should be larger, which results in a larger overall volume of the fan.


SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

In order to solve the above problems, the present patent provides a centrifugal fan.


The present invention provides the following technical solutions:


The patent proposes a centrifugal fan, comprising a housing and a blade assembly, wherein the blade assembly comprises a driving device and a blade, and the fan blades have a rotation center; the housing is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet, and the housing covers the blade assembly to form a flow channel therein; the flow channel comprises a supercharging area and an opening area, wherein a first boundary between the supercharging area and the opening area is a line connecting the tongue and the center, and a second boundary between the supercharging area and the opening area is a line connecting the center and the end point of an arc-shaped side wall of the flow channel, and the opening area has a central angle greater than 180° with the center.


In one embodiment, the air outlet includes at least an arc-shaped portion.


In one embodiment, the air outlet includes an arc-shaped portion and a straight portion.


In one embodiment, at least one air guide plate is provided near the air outlet of the flow channel.


In one embodiment, the extension direction of at least one of the air guide plates is the same as the extension direction of the flow channel at the air guide plate.


In one embodiment, the tongue is one of the ends of the arc-shaped side wall of the flow channel, and the distance from the tongue to the center is smaller than the distance from other points on the arc-shaped side wall to the center.


In one embodiment, the outer shape of the housing is a combination of the semicircle and the rectangle, and chamfers are performed on four sides of the housing.


In one embodiment, the air outlet comprises an arc-shaped portion and a straight portion, the arc-shaped portion of the air outlet is located on the semicircular portion of the housing, and the straight portion of the air outlet is located on the rectangular portion of the housing.


In one embodiment, when the fan blade assembly is installed on the housing, the center of the fan blades coincides with the center of the semicircular part of the housing.


The technical solution provided by the present patent has the following beneficial effects:


The opening area of the centrifugal fan has a central angle greater than 180°, so that the centrifugal fan has a wider air outlet range and a larger air outlet volume. In addition, because the opening area has a central angle greater than 180°, the supercharging area has a smaller central angle, so that the arc length of the supercharging area is smaller under the same conditions, and therefore, the volume of the centrifugal fan is more compact.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Other features, objects and advantages of the present invention will be more clearly and completely by the detailed description of the non-limiting embodiments with reference to the attached drawings (FIG. 1 to FIG. 6). Obviously, the described embodiments are only part of the embodiments of the present invention, but not all of them. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in the field without creative labor are within the scope of the present invention.


As shown in FIGS. 1-6, the present patent provides a centrifugal fan, comprising a housing 10 and a fan blade assembly 20, wherein the housing 10 covers the fan blade assembly 20 to form a flow channel 103 therein. The housing 10 can be divided into a first housing 101 and a second housing 102, the first housing 101 and the second housing 102 are connected by a connecting structure, the connecting structure includes screws and the like; the housing 10 includes an air inlet 103, the air inlet 103 is located on the second housing 102, the second housing 102 can be provided with a plurality of ribs 1021 at the air inlet 103 to prevent larger foreign objects from entering and blocking the air inlet 103, and can also protect the human from injuring.


The fan blade assembly 20 includes a driving device 201 and fan blades 202. The driving device 201 is connected to the fan blades 202 and drives the fan blades 202 to rotate. The driving device 201 can be, for example, a motor, etc. The driving device 201 includes a stator and a rotor, wherein the stator of the driving device 201 can be fixed on the housing 10, and the rotor is connected to the fan blades 202 and drives the fan blades 202 to rotate. The fan blades 202 have a center 2021, which is the rotation center of the fan blades 202.


The housing 10 is also provided with an air outlet 104. When the fan blades 202 rotate along the direction 203, the air flow enters the housing 10 through the air inlet 103 and flows out of the housing 10 from the air outlet 104 along the flow channel 103 (as shown in the direction of the arrow).


Referring to FIG. 5, the flow channel 103 in the housing 10 is divided into a supercharging area B and an opening area A, the airflow is gradually pressurized in the supercharging area B until it is released at the opening area A. The first boundary 106 between the supercharging area B and the opening area A is a line connecting the tongue 1051 and the center 2021. The tongue 1051 is one of the ends of the arc-shaped side wall 105 of the flow channel 103, and the distance from the tongue 1051 to the center 2021 is less than the distance from other points on the arc-shaped side wall 105 to the center 2021. The second boundary 107 between the supercharging area B and the opening area A is a line connecting the center 2021 and the end point 1052 of the arc-shaped side wall 105 of the flow channel 103. The arc-shaped side wall 105 of the flow channel 103 is connected to the flat side wall 109 at the end point 1052, and the flat side wall 109 is generally in the form of a plane or a micro-curved surface close to a plane. In this embodiment, the opening area A has a central angle greater than 180° with the center 2021 as the center. In this embodiment, the opening area A has a central angle greater than 180°, so that the centrifugal fan has a wider air outlet range and a larger air outlet volume. In addition, the opening area A has a central angle greater than 180°, the supercharging area B has a smaller central angle, so that the arc length of the supercharging area B is smaller under the same conditions, and therefore, the volume of the centrifugal fan is more compact.


In this embodiment, at least one air guide plate 108 is provided in the flow channel 103 near the air outlet 104, and the extension direction of the at least one air guide plate 108 is the same as the extension direction of the flow channel 103 at the air guide plate 108, that is, in the direction from inside to outside, each air guide plate 108 has the same bending direction as the flow channel 103 at the air guide plate 108. Thus, the air guide plate 108 can guide the wind in the flow channel 103 to the housing 10 more evenly, thereby ensuring the air output of the centrifugal fan.


In this embodiment, the air outlet 104 includes an arc-shaped portion and a straight portion. As can be expected by those skilled in the art, when the shape of the housing is different, the air outlet 104 may also only include the arc-shaped portion. The above shape of the air outlet 104 enables the air outlet 104 to correspond to the opening area of the large center angle, making the air outlet smoother.


Referring to FIGS. 1-5, the outer shape of the housing 10 is a combination of the semicircle and the rectangle, and chamfers are performed on all sides of the housing 10. After the chamfering, the outer shape of the housing 10 is more rounded, avoiding the injuries caused by sharp corners when contacting with the human body. When the fan blade assembly 20 is installed on the housing, the center 2021 of the fan blades 202 coincides with the center of the semicircular part of the housing 10. In addition, the arc-shaped portion of the air outlet 104 is located on the semicircular portion of the housing 10, and the straight portion of the air outlet 104 is located on the rectangular portion of the housing 10. The above shape of the housing 10 makes the volume of the centrifugal fan more compact.


Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. While the description above refers to the particular embodiments of the present invention, it will be understood that many modifications may be made without departing from the spirit thereof. Any equivalent replacement or modification would fall within the protection scope of the present invention.

Claims
  • 1. A centrifugal fan, comprising a housing and a blade assembly, wherein the blade assembly comprises a driving device and fan blades, and the fan blades have a rotation center; the housing is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet, and the housing covers the blade assembly to form a flow channel therein; the flow channel comprises a supercharging area and an opening area, wherein a first boundary between the supercharging area and the opening area is a line connecting the tongue and the center, and a second boundary between the supercharging area and the opening area is a line connecting the center and the end point of the arc-shaped side wall of the flow channel, and the opening area has a central angle greater than 180° with the center.
  • 2. A centrifugal fan according to claim 1, wherein the air outlet at least comprises an arc-shaped portion.
  • 3. A centrifugal fan according to claim 1, wherein the air outlet comprises an arc-shaped portion and a straight portion.
  • 4. A centrifugal fan according to any one of claim 1, wherein at least one air guide plate is provided near the air outlet of the flow channel.
  • 5. A centrifugal fan according to claim 4, wherein the extension direction of at least one of the air guide plates is the same as the extension direction of the flow channel at the air guide plate.
  • 6. A centrifugal fan according to claim 1, wherein the tongue is one end of the arc-shaped side wall of the flow channel, and the distance from the tongue to the center is smaller than the distance from other points on the arc-shaped side wall to the center.
  • 7. A centrifugal fan according to claim 1, wherein the outer shape of the housing is a combination of the semicircle and the rectangle, and chamfers are performed on four sides of the housing.
  • 8. A centrifugal fan according to claim 7, wherein the air outlet comprises an arc-shaped portion and a straight portion, the arc-shaped portion of the air outlet is located on the semicircular portion of the housing, and the straight portion of the air outlet is located on the rectangular portion of the housing.
  • 9. A centrifugal fan according to claim 8, wherein when the fan blade assembly is installed on the housing, the center of the fan blades coincides with the center of the semicircular part of the housing.
