The present invention relates to a cereal bowl assembly used to consume breakfast cereal.
Many consumers enjoy breakfast cereal as a meal on a daily basis. Breakfast cereal is usually served in a bowl with milk for consumption. The consumer normally may eat the cereal while enjoying the milk within the bowl combined with the cereal. One drawback to this common meal is that cereal as it sits in the milk becomes soggy over a period of time. As the cereal becomes soggy, the meal may become less enjoyable for the consumer. To avoid this many consumers typically eat the cereal from the bowl in a rapid pace to avoid the resulting soggy cereal. Another method of avoiding soggy cereal is to pour a smaller amount of milk to minimize the cereal's exposure to liquids. However, this method creates an extra task and becomes tedious for consumption of the breakfast cereal. As a result, it would be advantageous to have a bowl configured to particularly address this issue in cereal consumption.
The present invention relates a cereal bowl assembly that includes a base bowl, where the base bowl includes a first diameter; and a cereal bowl, where the cereal bowl includes a second diameter and the second diameter smaller than the first diameter, where the cereal bowl is adapted to fit into the base bowl. Advantageously the cereal bowl includes a plurality of holes within a bottom surface. The cereal bowl may further include support brackets extending from the cereal bowl, where the support brackets extend over a lip of the base bowl and down the outside of the base bowl. The cereal bowl may also include a handle extending from an edge, where the support brackets and handle are adapted to support the cereal bowl over the base bowl.
The present invention relates a cereal bowl assembly that includes a base bowl and a cereal bowl that fits inside the base bowl. The cereal bowl includes a plurality of holes in the bottom of the cereal bowl. Supporting brackets are provided on the cereal bowl including a handle. During use, a user places the cereal within the cereal bowl and then lowers the cereal bowl into the base bowl which ideally includes milk. This method enables the consumer to consume the cereal within the cereal bowl but lift the cereal out of the base bowl to prevent oversaturation of the cereal with the milk. The support brackets extend downwardly along the side of the base bowl creating a slot that fits over the lip of the base bowl.
