Claims
- 1. A method for killing mites by contacting the mites on their plant habitat with a composition comprising a liquid or solid inert carrier and a miticidally effective but non-phytotoxic amount of a dicyclohexylphenyltin compound of the general formula ##STR5## wherein X represents a monovalent radical selected from the group consisting of chlorine, bromine, fluorine, hydroxyl, carboxylate, phenoxy, alkoxy (-OR.sup.1) and mercaptide (-SR.sup.2), wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl radical containing between 1 and 12 carbon atoms, inclusive, R.sup.2 represents a radical selected from the same group as R.sup.1 or a phenyl radical and Y is selected from the group consisting of oxygen, sulfur and sulfate radicals.
