Claims
- 1. A chain liner assembly for maintaining the relation of the links of a chain, said assembly comprising a base plate, a pair of brackets mounted in a parallel spaced relation on said base plate, a chain sprocket mounted at each end of said brackets, and a pair of blocks mounted on said base plate beneath each of said sprockets in a spaced relation to said sprockets for defining a channel for each vertical link in the chain and a horizontal plane for supporting each horizontal link.
- 2. The assembly according to claim 1 including means for selectively limiting the direction of movement of the chain through the channel in the block.
- 3. The assembly according to claim 2 wherein said limiting means comprises a plate pivotally mounted on said brackets for movement into engagement with one end of one of said pairs of blocks and a slot in one end of said plate for matingly engaging one of the vertical links passing through said channels.
- 4. A chain liner assembly for a tower assembly on a work rack, the tower assembly including an adjustable bracket on one side of the tower and a chain dog assembly mounted for reciprocal motion on the other side of the tower, a chain mounted on said bracket assembly and passing through the tower and operatively connected to the chain dog assembly, the chain liner rail assembly comprising a pair of brackets mounted in the base of the tower assembly in a parallel spaced relation, a sprocket wheel mounted on each end of the brackets for guiding the chain from the bracket through the tower to the chain dog assembly and a pair of blocks mounted on the base beneath each of the sprocket assemblies defining a channel for guiding each alternate link of the chain through the tower.
- 5. The chain liner assembly according to claim 4 including means mounted on the brackets for selectively engaging one of the alternate chain links to limit the direction of movement of the chain to one direction.
