The invention relates to chains for jewelry. More specifically, the invention relates to an improved jewelry chain with double clasps.
Individuals frequently wear multiple jewelry items at once. It is particularly fashionable to wear multiple chains or necklaces at the same time. Unfortunately, when chains or necklaces are worn at the same time, they frequently become tangled, which can be unsightly. Additionally, tangled necklaces changes can be very inconvenient to untangle. What is needed is a way to reduce the likelihood that the chains become tangled when worn and to improve the ease with which they can be untangled.
The invention provides a unique chain with a clasp at each end, the clasp being specially adapted to attach to another chain or necklace. According to the invention, the second chain or necklace will then drape lower on the wearer to avoid entanglement with the other chain. Additional embodiments may include the use of two or even more chains in addition to the chain that is around the wearer's neck Additionally, if the two or more chains become entangled, it will be easier to untangle the chains by simply unclasping the chains and removing them from the main chain.

In application, the dual clasp necklace comprises a main necklace section having a first end and a second end; at first necklace extension section, the first necklace extension section being attached to the first end of the main necklace section and comprising a first attachment link and a second end comprising a clasp; a second necklace extension section, the second necklace extension section being attached to the second end of the main necklace section and comprising a second attachment link and a second end comprising a clasp; and a second necklace, the second necklace having a first end comprising a clasp that is removably attachable to the attachment chain link in the first necklace extension and a second end comprising a clasp that is removably attachable to the attachment chain link in the second necklace extension. This second necklace generally drapes lower than the first necklace, providing a stylish addition to the main necklace.
