Claims
- 1. A flash device adapted to be operatively associated with a camera which automatically carries out a sequence of operations including initiation of photography causing depression of a shutter button and opening of a shutter, and a finishing operation of the photography causing closing of the shutter, returning of the shutter button and take-up of one frame of film, the flash device comprising:
- (a) a main capacitor for storing energy for generating flash light;
- (b) means for supplying direct current voltage;
- (c) a voltage convertor connected to said voltage supplying means and applying a boosted voltage of said direct current voltage to said main capacitor, the voltage convertor including a booster transformer and an oscillation circuit for applying an alternating current voltage to a primary winding of the transformer, the oscillation circuit being energized until said main capacitor is sufficiently charged;
- (d) actuating switch means for triggering said oscillation circuit to intitiate oscillation thereof, the switch means being previously operated prior to said sequence in the camera; and
- (e) re-actuating circuit means for triggering said oscillation circuit to initiate oscillation thereof, the reactuating circuit means being operatively associated with said finishing operation of said sequence.
- 2. A flash device according to claim 1, wherein said re-actuating circuit means includes re-actuating switch means connected in parallel with said actuating switch means.
- 3. A flash device according to claim 1, wherein said oscillation circuit includes a transistor connected between said voltage supply means and the primary winding of said booster transformer and a further capacitor connected between the base and emitter of the transistor.
