Claims
- 1. A compound of the formula
- 2. The compound of claim 1, wherein R2 and R3 together with ring E form an optionally substituted 5-10 membered ring optionally containing N, O or S.
- 3. The compound of claim 1, wherein L1 is linked to position 2 of ring E.
- 4. The compound of claim 1, wherein the dotted line in ring E represents a double bond between the nitrogen shown and position 2.
- 5. The compound of claim 4, wherein R2 and R3 are connected so as to form a benzosubstituent to ring E.
- 6. The compound of claim 1, wherein ring A is saturated.
- 7. The compound of claim 6, wherein k is 0 or 1.
- 8. A compound of the formula
- 9. The compound of claim 8, wherein L2 is methylene or ethylene.
- 10. The compound of claim 8, wherein m is 1 and all Z embodiments are CR2.
- 11. The compound of claim 10, wherein all Z are CH2.
- 12. A compound of claim 8, wherein each Y is independently pyrimidyl, pyridyl, phenyl, benzimidazole or benzoxazole.
- 13. A compound of the formula
- 14. The compound of claim 1, wherein Y is a saturated or unsaturated 5-membered ring containing 1-2 heteroatoms selected from N, O and S.

- 16. A pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective therapeutic amount of the compound of claim 1.
- 17. A pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective therapeutic amount of the compound of claim 8.
- 18. A pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective therapeutic amount of the compound of claim 13.
- 19. A pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective therapeutic amount of the compound of claim 15.
- 20. A method for treating HIV or FIV infected patients comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of claim 1 or a pharmaceutical composition thereof.
- 21. A method for treating HIV or FIV infected patients comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of claim 8 or a pharmaceutical composition thereof.
- 22. A method for treating HIV or FIV infected patients comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of claim 13 or a pharmaceutical composition thereof.
- 23. A method for treating HIV or FIV infected patients comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of claim 15 or a pharmaceutical composition thereof.
- 24. A pharmaceutical composition useful for treatment of a patient for modulating a chemokine receptor comprising an effective therapeutic amount of the compound of claim 1.
- 25. The compound of claim 8, wherein R is a C1-6 alkyl optionally substitued with a 5-10 membered ring with at least one N group.
