Claims
- 1. An isolated and purified nucleic acid molecule encoding a chicken infectious anemia virus polypeptide, wherein the nucleic acid molecule consists of a nucleotide sequence consisting of SEQ ID NO:1.
- 2. An isolated and purified nucleic acid molecule encoding a chicken infectious anemia virus polypeptide wherein the nucleic acid molecule consists of an open reading frame beginning with nucleotide position 832 of SEQ ID NO:1 and ending with nucleotide position 2178 of SEQ ID NO:1.
- 3. A nucleic acid molecule according to claim 2, wherein the nucleic acid molecule is operatively linked to an expression control element.
- 4. A host cell transformed with the nucleic acid molecule according to claim 3.
- 5. A recombinant vector containing the nucleic acid molecule according to claim 2, wherein the nucleic acid molecule is operably linked to one or more control elements for expression.
- 6. The recombinant vector of claim 5, wherein the vector is a viral vector selected from the group consisting of Marek's disease virus, infectious laryngotracheitis virus, chicken fowlpox virus, and herpesvirus of turkey.
- 7. A host cell containing the vector of claim 5.
- 8. A nucleic acid molecule according to claim 1, wherein the nucleic acid molecule is operatively linked to an expression control element.
- 9. A host cell transformed with the nucleic acid molecule according to claim 8.
- 10. A recombinant vector containing the nucleic acid molecule according to claim 1, wherein the nucleic acid molecule is operably linked to one or more control elements for expression.
- 11. The recombinant vector of claim 10, wherein the vector is a viral vector selected from the group consisting of Marek's disease virus, infectious laryngotracheitis virus, chicken fowlpox virus, and herpesvirus of turkey.
- 12. A host cell containing the vector of claim 10.
- 13. An isolated and purified nucleic acid molecule which consists of a DNA sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) SEQ ID NO:1,
- (b) an open reading frame beginning with nucleotide position 832 of SEQ ID NO:1 and ending with nucleotide position 2178 of SEQ ID NO:1, and
- (c) a sequence beginning with nucleotide position 847 of SEQ ID NO:1 and ending with nucleotide position 1486 of SEQ ID NO:1, and
- (d) a sequence beginning with nucleotide position 1172 of SEQ ID NO:1 and ending with nucleotide position 1486 of SEQ ID NO:1.
- 14. A nucleic acid molecule according to claim 13, wherein the nucleic acid molecule is operatively linked to an expression control element.
- 15. A host cell transformed with the nucleic acid molecule according to claim 14.
- 16. A recombinant vector containing the nucleic acid molecule according to claim 13, wherein the nucleic acid molecule is operably linked to one or more control elements for expression.
- 17. The recombinant vector of claim 16, wherein the vector is a viral vector selected from the group consisting of Marek's disease virus, infectious laryngotracheitis virus, chicken fowlpox virus, and herpesvirus of turkey.
- 18. A host cell containing the vector of claim 16.
