This U.S. non-provisional patent application claims priority under 35 U.S.C. § 119 of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2023-0125462, filed on Sep. 20, 2023, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference.
The present invention relates to a child guard packing, and more particularly, to a child guard packing that is easily opened by a simple operation but is difficult to be opened from the outside.
In general, a zipper bag that is a packaging bag with a zipper including male and female coupling parts at an opening thereof is a household item capable of effectively protecting contents from external environments by storing a product therein and locking the zipper to maintain sealing.
The zipper bag is extremely useful for storing food that requires freshness and cleanliness or for storing liquid that is easily leaked. In addition, a self-standable pouch or flat bag with a zipper capable of opening and closing an opening thereof is also known.
The zipper mounted to the above-described bag includes a male track (male zipper) and a female track (female zipper), which may be coupled to each other.
The male track and the female track are respectively disposed on inner surfaces of a pair of face members of a main body of the bag to face each other and each extend in a horizontal direction of the main body of the bag. Since the zipper generally extends over an entire horizontal direction of the main body of the bag, the main body of the bag is opened over an entire area in the horizontal direction when the zipper is opened.
However, the zipper bag is required not to be easily opened from the outside depending on contents stored therein. Particularly, when contents that are not allowed to be accessed by children or infants are stored in the zipper bag, there is a safety issue.
Although some zipper bags are designed with double or triple zippers in consideration of the safety issue, the zipper bag is still opened easily when applying additional force. In recent years, although a zipper bag with a safety lock is commercially available, the zipper bag improves safety but has an issue of inconvenience and increased costs.
Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0440413 discloses a multiple vinyl zipper bag. However, this invention is focused on efficiency of storage space rather than on safety.
The present applicant filed for a patent for a child guard packing, which is approved (Korean Patent Registration No. 10-2058080).
Although the child guard packing disclosed in Korean Patent Registration No. 10-2058080 is excellent in terms of efficiency, the child guard packing requires an improvement toward a more simple structure.
The present invention provides a zipper bag that is difficult to open.
The present invention also provides a zipper bag that is difficult for infants and children to open so that the infants and children may not access contents stored therein.
The present invention also provides a safety zipper bag with low costs and a high efficiency, which may be produced by a simple structure without increasing a production method or production costs.
Technical objects to be solved by the present invention are not limited to the aforementioned technical objects and unmentioned technical objects will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art to which the present invention belongs.
An embodiment of the present invention provide a child guard packing including: a main body in which a space for containing contents is formed; and a guard pocket part having one surface fixed to an upper end of one inner surface of the main body, the other surface coupled to an upper end of the other inner surface by a zipper, and a bottom surface that connects the one surface to the other surface.

In the following description of the present invention, a detailed description of known functions and configurations incorporated herein will be omitted to avoid making the subject matter of the present invention unclear.
The packing is generally made of a vinyl sheet, and the vinyl sheet may use a slightly thick and tough material to form a zipper with a bulky property at an opening of a pouch.
The term “vinyl” used in the present invention is not a scientific term but a generally used term for a synthetic resin film, including not only vinyl resins with vinyl groups but also synthetic resin film products such as a polyethylene film, which are commonly used in vinyl bags, vinyl greenhouses, and other transparent materials that transmit sunlight.
A child guard packing 100 according to the present invention may include: a synthetic resin main body 110; a guard pocket part 120 seated inside an upper end of the main body 110; a zipper 140 that is formed with an interlocking structure on one side of the guard pocket part 120 and one side of the main body 110 to open and close an entrance; and a notch part 130 disposed above the zipper 140 to indicate a tear line.
The child guard packing 100 may be sealed by heat-sealing a peripheral edge including left, right, lower, and upper portions.
The male-female coupling zipper 140 may be formed at an upper inner portion of the sealed peripheral edge.
Also, the notch part 130 having a V-shape (or U-shape) may be formed at one side of an opening of the child guard packing 100. As an opening guide line is printed horizontally from the notch part 130, the child guard packing 100 may be opened by applying force to the notch part 130.
Referring to
The upper end is sealed before cutting the notch part 130, and an entrance 150 of the child guard packing 100 remains in a closed state due to the sealing.
The main body 110 may include a first main body 110a at one side surface, a second main body 110b at the other side surface, and a bottom part for storing contents.
The guard pocket part 120 may be disposed inside the upper end of the main body 110 and have a U-shaped pocket shape with the sealed bottom part. The first pocket part 120a and the second pocket part 120b may be connected by the bottom part. The first pocket part 120a may be coupled to an upper inner side of the first main body 110a through a male and female coupling of the zipper, and the second pocket part 120b may be welded to an upper inner side of the second main body 110b by a fixing part 160.
Referring to
The upper end may be opened by the notch part 130, and the entrance 150 may be opened and closed by the zipper 140.
In general, when opening the zipper 140, a user grips the upper end to which male and female parts of the zipper 140 are attached and pulls the upper end apart in both directions.
However, although the upper end of the child guard packing 100 according to the present invention, i.e., the upper end of the first main body 110a and the upper end of the second main body 110b of the main body 110, are exposed, the zipper 140 is not opened even when the upper end of the first main body 110a and the upper end of the second main body 110b are gripped and pulled to the outside.
This is because although the zipper 140 is opened when surfaces, to which a male zipper and a female zipper of the zipper 140 are attached, respectively, are pulled apart in both directions, since a male zipper (or female zipper) of the zipper 140 according to the present invention is attached to the upper end of the first main body 110a, and the female zipper (or male zipper) is attached to the upper end of the first pocket part 120a of the guard pocket part 120, the child guard packing 100 is opened when the upper end of the first main body 110a and the upper end of the first pocket part 120a are gripped and pulled to the outside.
The male zipper (or female zipper) are attached to the upper end of the first pocket part 120a of the guard pocket part 120, and the upper end of the second pocket part 120b is welded to the inside of the upper end of the second main body 110b.
Thus, the child guard packing 100 according to the present invention may be used as a child safe zipper bag having a structure by which contents are not accessed because the entrance 150 is closed by the guard pocket part 120 when the zipper 140 is closed.
Furthermore, a tip of the upper end of the first pocket part 120a may be disposed lower than a tip of the upper end of the first main body 110a to improve an efficiency of the child guard packing 100. Also, it may be better to decrease a distance from the tip of the upper end of the first pocket part 120a to the male (or female) zipper.
The feature in which the distance from the tip of the upper end of the first pocket part 120a to the male (or female) zipper is short represents that a height available to grip is reduced. Thus, it is more difficult for children to grip and open the zipper 140.
Referring to a cross-section of the child guard packing 100 according to the present invention, the guard pocket part 120 is disposed inside the upper end of the main body 110. An overall structure includes the first main body 110a, a female zipper 140a and a male zipper 140b attached respectively to the first main body 110a and the first pocket part 120a, the first pocket part 120a, the second pocket part 120b, the fixing part 160 fixed to the upper end of the second pocket part 120b and the upper end of the second main body 110b, and the second main body 110b.
The entrance 150 of the child guard packing 100 is closed by the zipper 140 and the guard pocket part 120. The entrance 150 is not opened by pulling the exposed upper ends of the first and second main bodies 110a and 110b due to a pocket structure of the guard pocket part 120, but opened by gripping the upper end of the first pocket part 120a and the upper end of the first main body 110a, i.e., areas to which the male zipper 140a and female zipper 140b are attached, and pulling the same to the outside. Thus, a safety zipper structure for protecting children may be realized.
According to the above-described configuration of the present invention, provided is the zipper bag that is difficult for infants and children to open, thereby preventing the infants and children from easily accessing the contents stored therein.
Also, provided is the safety zipper bag with the low costs and high efficiency, which may be produced by the simple structure without increasing the production methods or costs.
However, the effects of the present invention are not limited to the aforementioned benefits; they may be expanded in various ways without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
While the embodiments of the present invention have been described with reference to the specific embodiments, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the following claims.
However, it is obvious that the changes and modifications do not depart from the scope of the claims of the present invention.
