Claims
- 1. A process for sanitizing the teat area of a dairy animal which comprises applying an effective amount of Chloramine T to the teat area of said animal.
- 2. The process of claim 1 wherein the Chloramine T is applied as a solution.
- 3. The process of claim 2 wherein the solution is an aqueous solution.
- 4. The process of claim 2 wherein the concentration of Chloramine T, in said solution, is from about 0.0005 to about 5 weight percent.
- 5. The process of claim 3 wherein the concentration of Chloramine T, in said solution, is from about 0.0005 to about 55 weight percent.
- 6. The process of claim 2 wherein the concentration of Chloramine T, in said solution, is from about 0.005 to about 1 weight percent.
- 7. The process of claim 3 wherein the concentration of Chloramine T, in said solution, is from about 0.005 to about 1 weight percent.
- 8. The process of claim 2 wherein the concentration of Chloramine T, in said solution, is from about 0.5 to about 1 weight percent.
- 9. The process of claim 3 wherein the concentration of Chloramint T, in said solution, is from about 0.5 to about 1 weight percent.
- 10. The process of claim 2 wherein the concentration of Chloramine T, in said solution, is about 0.5 weight percent.
- 11. The process of claim 3 wherein the concentration of Chloramine T is about 0.5 weight percent.
- 12. The process of claim 5 wherein the solution of Chloramine T is applied pre milking.
- 13. The process of claim 5 wherein the solution of Chloramine T is applied post milking.
- 14. The process of claim 5 when the solution of Chloramine T is applied both pre milking and post milking.
- 15. The process of claim 9 wherein the solution of Chloramine T is applied pre milking.
- 16. The process of claim 9 wherein the solution of Chloramine T is applied post milking.
- 17. The process of claim 9 when the solution of Chloramine T us applied both pre milking and post milking.
- 18. The process of claim 1 wherein the solution of Chloramine T further incorporates an effective amount of a wetting agent.
- 19. The process of claim 16 wherein the solution of Chloramine T further incorporates an effective amount of a wetting agent.
- 20. The process of claim 17 wherein the solution of Chloramine T further incorporates an effective amount of a wetting agent.
