Claims
- 1. A vulcanizable and foamable chlorinated rubber composition comprising
- (A) a chlorinated rubber having a chlorine content of 10 to 45% by weight based on the weight of the chlorinated rubber and a Mooney viscosity, ML.sub.1+4 (121.degree. C.), of 10 to 190, said chlorinated rubber being obtained by chlorinating an ethylene/alpha-olefin/vinylnorbornene copolymer rubber containing ethylene units and units of an alpha-olefin having 3 to 14 carbon atoms in a mole ratio of from 50:50 to 95:5 and 3 to 30 millimoles, per 100 g of the ethylene units and the alpha-olefin units combined, of 5-vinyl-2-norbornene units,
- (B) a triazine compound represented by the general formula ##STR3## wherein R is R.sup.1 R.sup.2 N--, R.sup.1 O--, R.sup.1 S or ##STR4## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represents a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl group, a C.sub.6 -C.sub.20 aryl group, a substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl group or a substituted C.sub.6 -C.sub.20 aryl group, and
- (C) a chemical blowing agent.
- 2. The vulcanizable and foamable chlorinated rubber composition of claim 1 wherein the amount of the chemical blowing agent (D) is 0.5 to 30 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of the chlorinated rubber (A).
- 3. A foamed product obtained by vulcanizing and foaming the vulcanizable and foamable chlorinated rubber composition of claim 1 so as to provide an apparent density of 0.03 to 0.9.
