Claims
- 1. A cigarette comprising:a tobacco rod; and a filter joined to the tobacco rod, the filter comprising a plug/space configuration comprising: a space loaded with fiber containing semi-opened micro-cavities, the cavities being loaded with flavorant delivery material in solid or liquid forms; and a plug on at least one end of the space.
- 2. A cigarette as in claim 1, wherein the fiber is a trilobal fiber.
- 3. A cigarette as in claim 1, wherein the fiber is a quadrilobal fiber.
- 4. A cigarette comprising:a tobacco rod; and a filter joined to the tobacco rod, the filter comprising a plug/space configuration comprising: a space loaded with fiber containing opened micro-cavities, the cavities being loaded with flavorant delivery material in solid or liquid forms; and a plug on at least one end of the space.
- 5. A cigarette as in claim 4 wherein the fiber is a trilobal fiber.
- 6. A cigarette as in claim 4 wherein the fiber is a quadrilobal fiber.
