The present invention relates to a device of a sewing machine, and more particularly to a cloth pressing device of a sewing machine.

The pressing leg 81 is mounted around the bottom portion of the pressing rod 82, and the pressing leg 81 is a one-piece structure. The user must unfasten and detach a screw from the pressing leg 81 in the process of replacing the pressing leg 81. However, the space under the pressing rod 82 is narrow. Therefore, the pressing rod 82 must be moved in the process of replacing the pressing leg 81, which is very inconvenient in operation.
The main objective of the present invention is to provide a cloth pressing device of a sewing machine.
The cloth pressing device of a sewing machine has a presser leg and a presser foot. The presser leg is a hollow cylinder and has a combining portion and a sleeve portion. The sleeve portion is integrated with a bottom portion of the combining portion. The presser foot is mounted around and fixed with a bottom portion of the presser leg. The presser foot has a surrounding portion and a pressing portion. The surrounding portion is a U-shaped block and has a front end and two free ends. The pressing portion is formed at the front end of the surrounding portion.

The presser leg 10 is mounted around and fixed with a sewing machine 30. The sewing machine 30 has a pressing rod 31. The pressing rod 31 is a solid cylinder and has a mounting hole 311. The mounting hole 311 is transversely formed through the pressing rod 31 and is adjacent to a top surface of the pressing rod 31. Therefore, the presser leg 10 may be mounted around and fixed with the pressing rod 31 of the sewing machine 30.
The presser leg 10 is a hollow cylinder and has a combining portion 11 and a sleeve portion 12. The combining portion 11 has a combining hole 111 transversely formed through the combining portion 11. A screw is mounted through the combining hole 111 and the mounting hole 311 to make the presser leg 10 mounted around and fixed with the pressing rod 31 of the sewing machine 30. The sleeve portion 12 is integrated with a bottom portion of the combining portion 11. An outer diameter of the sleeve portion 12 is smaller than an outer diameter of the combining portion 11.
The presser foot 20 is mounted around and fixed with a bottom portion of the presser leg 10. The presser foot 20 has a surrounding portion 21 and a pressing portion 22. The surrounding portion 21 is a U-shaped block and has a front end 211, two free ends 212, a through hole 213, and a fastening hole 214. The through hole 213 is vertically formed through the surrounding portion 21 and between the front end 211 and the two free ends 212. The fastening hole 214 is transversely formed through the two free ends 212 of the surrounding portion 21. A screw 215 is mounted through the fastening hole 214 with a nut 216, and an inner diameter of the through hole 213 is adjustable.
The pressing portion 22 is formed at the front end 211 of the surrounding portion 21 and has a connecting section 221 and a model block 222. The connecting section 221 is formed at the front end 211 of the surrounding portion 21 and is an oblique block. The model block 222 is formed at a bottom portion of the connecting section 221. Preferably, the model block 222 is a circular ring and has a recess 2221. The recess 2221 is formed in a top surface of the model block 222.
When the first embodiment of the cloth pressing device in accordance with the present invention is in use, a user must loosen the screw 215 and the nut 216. Then, the user may replace the presser foot 20 rapidly and conveniently. For replacement of the pressing leg 81 of the conventional sewing machine, which has a narrow space under the pressing rod 82, the pressing rod 82 must be moved before the replacement, while the present invention is rapid in replacement of the presser foot 20 and hence is convenient in operation.
