Abstract
A clothes drying hanger may comprise a main body, a plurality of clothespins, and a plurality of spacers. The main body has a first bar and a second bar which are parallel and spaced apart by a preferred distance, and at least two supporting bars are secured therebetween. A shifting board, which is parallel with the second bar, is movably abutted between an inner surface of the second bar and two ends of the two supporting bars close to the second bar. A handle is connected to an outer surface of the second bar through two parallel connecting rods which further penetrate through the second bar to connect to the shifting board such that through pressing the handle, the connecting rods can drive the shifting board to have parallel shift toward the first bar, thereby simultaneously releasing all of the clothes hanged on the clothespins by a single action.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a clothes drying hanger, and more particularly to a clothes drying hanger that enables a user to release all hanging clothes by a single action.


BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Referring to FIG. 9, a conventional ring-shaped clothes drying hanger (50) generally comprises a supporting base (51), a plurality of first chains (52), a frame (53) and a plurality of alligator clips (54), and a central top portion of the supporting base (51) is connected to a hook (511). A plurality of through holes (512) vertically and respectively penetrate through eccentric positions of the supporting base (51), and each of the first chains (52) is engaged with the through hole (512) and the frames (53) at both ends thereof. Thus, through the first chains (52) and the supporting base (51), the frame (53) can be suspended when the hook (511) is placed on a secured bar. A plurality of locating rings (531) separately formed on the frame (53), and a lower portion of the single locating ring (531) is connected to an alligator clip (54) through a second chain, wherein the alligator clip (54) is integrally made of metal and comprises an elastic portion (541), a pressing portion (542) and a clamping portion (543) respectively formed at a central portion and two side portions thereof.


However, the conventional clothes drying hanger is disadvantageous because: a user only can release one clothes from the alligator clip (54) at one time, which is inconvenient and waste time. Therefore, there remains a need for a new and improved design for a clothes drying hanger to overcome the problems presented above.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention provides a clothes drying hanger which comprises a main body, a plurality of clothespins, and a plurality of spacers. The main body has a first bar and a second bar which are parallel and spaced apart by a preferred distance, and at least two supporting bars are secured therebetween. Moreover, a shifting board, which is parallel with the second bar, is movably abutted between an inner surface of the second bar and two ends of the two supporting bars close to the second bar. A handle is connected to an outer surface of the second bar through two parallel connecting rods, and the two connecting rods further penetrate through the second bar to connect to the shifting board such that through pressing the handle, the connecting rods can drive the shifting board to have parallel shift toward the first bar. Additionally, an abutting portion is formed on the outer surface of the second bar between the two connecting rods. Each of the clothespins comprises a first clip piece and a second clip piece, and an elastic portion is connected therebetween. Furthermore, a spring is disposed on the elastic portion. In addition, each of the first clip piece and the second clip piece has a through hole formed at an upper portion thereof, and the two through holes are located at corresponding positions to enable the supporting bar of the main body to simultaneously penetrate therethrough. The spacer is formed in a tube shape having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the supporting bar, and each of the spacers disposed on the supporting bar is borne against between any two adjacent clothespins which are on the same supporting bar. Thus, with the spacers, two clothespins at two ends of the supporting bar are respectively borne against an inner surface of the first bar and an inner surface of the shifting board from outer surfaces thereof.


Comparing with conventional clothes drying hanger, the present invention is advantageous because: (i) through cooperating the main body with the clothespins and the spacers and pushing the handle to drive the shifting board, all of the clothes hanged on the clothespins can be released simultaneously by a single action, which saves time and labors; and (ii) the handle can directly drive the shifting board to have parallel shift without other components, which simplifies the structure of the clothes drying hanger.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The detailed description set forth below is intended as a description of the presently exemplary device provided in accordance with aspects of the present invention and is not intended to represent the only forms in which the present invention may be prepared or utilized. It is to be understood, rather, that the same or equivalent functions and components may be accomplished by different embodiments that are also intended to be encompassed within the spirit and scope of the invention.


Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood to one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs. Although any methods, devices and materials similar or equivalent to those described can be used in the practice or testing of the invention, the exemplary methods, devices and materials are now described.

In order to further understand the goal, characteristics and effect of the present invention, a number of embodiments along with the drawings are illustrated as following:


Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the present invention provides a clothes drying hanger which comprises a main body (10), a plurality of clothespins (20), and a plurality of spacers (30). The main body (10) has a first bar (11) and a second bar (12) which are parallel and spaced apart by a preferred distance, and at least two supporting bars (13) are secured therebetween. Moreover, a shifting board (14), which is parallel with the second bar (12), is movably abutted between an inner surface of the second bar (12) and two ends of the two supporting bars (13) close to the second bar (12). A handle (15) is connected to an outer surface of the second bar (12) through two parallel connecting rods (151), and the two connecting rods (151) further penetrate through the second bar (12) to connect to the shifting board (14) such that through pressing the handle (15), the connecting rods (151) can drive the shifting board (14) to have parallel shift toward the first bar (11). Additionally, an abutting portion (121) is formed on the outer surface of the second bar (12) between the two connecting rods (151). Each of the clothespins (20) comprises a first clip piece (201) and a second clip piece (202), and an elastic portion (203) is connected therebetween. Furthermore, a spring (21) is disposed on the elastic portion (203). In addition, each of the first clip piece (201) and the second clip piece (202) has a through hole (204) formed at an upper portion thereof, and the two through holes (204) are located at corresponding positions to enable the supporting bar (13) of the main body (10) to simultaneously penetrate therethrough. The spacer (30) is formed in a tube shape having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the supporting bar (13), and each of the spacers (30) disposed on the supporting bar (13) is borne against between any two adjacent clothespins (20) which are on the same supporting bar (13). Thus, with the spacers (30), two clothespins (20) at two ends of the supporting bar (13) are respectively borne against an inner surface of the first bar (11) and an inner surface of the shifting board (14) from outer surfaces thereof.


In actual application, the clothes (40) are clamped and hanged by lower portions of the clothespins (20) for drying. When a user needs to take the clothes (40) down from the main body (10), he/she can warp fingers around the abutting portion (121) of the second bar (12) and use his/her palm to push the handle (15). Then, the handle (15) is configured to drive the shifting board (14) to have parallel shift toward the first bar (11) (as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6), and pairs of the first clip piece (201) and the second clip piece (202) of the clothespin (20) are adapted to be pressed simultaneously by the shifting board (14), the spacers (30) and the first bar (11) to separate lower portions of the clothespins (20) and release the clothes (40) at the same time.


In one embodiment, a first supporting portion (111) and a second supporting portion (122) respectively protruding from an upper portion of the first bar (11) and an upper portion of the second bar (12) are configured to connect to a horizontal rod (16) therebetween, and the horizontal rod (16) further comprises a hook (161) to enable the main body (10) to be hanged.


In another embodiment, the first supporting portion (111) and the second supporting portion (122) are formed in a frame shape.


In still another embodiment, the connecting rods (151) of the handle (15) are configured to respectively penetrate through the second bar (12) and firmly engage on the shifting board (14).


In a further embodiment, each of the supporting bars (13) has a square cross-section and the through holes (204) of the clothespins (20) are square holes, which prevents the clothespins (20) from rotating about the supporting bar (13) after engagement.


In still a further embodiment, each of the springs (21) is a compression spring disposed on the supporting bar (13), and two ends of the spring (21) are respectively borne against the first clip piece (201) and the second clip piece (202) of the clothespin (20).


In yet a further embodiment, each of the springs (21) is a torsional spring borne against between the first clip piece (201) and the second clip piece (202) of the clothespin (20) (as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8).


In an advantageous embodiment, each of the first clip pieces (201) is pivotally connected to two ends of a U-shaped blocking member (22), and the blocking member (22) further has two zigzag portions (221) at two legs thereof; each of two lateral edges of the second clip piece (202) comprises a recess (205) and a blocking edge (206). The two legs of the blocking member (22) are respectively coupled with the two recesses (205) to enable the two zigzag portions (221) to abut against the two blocking edges (206), thereby spacing apart the lower portion of the clothespin (20) between the first clip piece (201) and the second clip piece (202). Therefore, the clothes (40) is easy to be put into an opening between the first clip piece (201) and the second clip piece (202). Moreover, the clothes (40) is configured to be clamped and hanged by the clothespin (20) in a moment when the blocking member (22) is pulled downwardly (as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8).


Comparing with conventional clothes drying hanger, the present invention is advantageous because: (i) through cooperating the main body (10) with the clothespins (20) and the spacers (30) and pushing the handle (15) to drive the shifting board (14), all of the clothes (40) hanged on the clothespins (20) can be released simultaneously by a single action, which saves time and labors; and (ii) the handle (15) can directly drive the shifting board (14) to have parallel shift without other components, which simplifies the structure of the clothes drying hanger.

Claims
  • 1. A clothes drying hanger comprising: a main body having a first bar and a second bar which are parallel and spaced apart by a preferred distance, and at least two supporting bars secured therebetween; a shifting board, which is parallel with the second bar, movably abutted between an inner surface of the second bar and two ends of the two supporting bars close to the second bar; a handle connected to an outer surface of the second bar through two parallel connecting rods, and the two connecting rods further penetrating through the second bar to connect to the shifting board such that through pressing the handle, the connecting rods configured to drive the shifting board to have parallel shift toward the first bar; an abutting portion formed on the outer surface of the second bar between the two connecting rods;a plurality of clothespins, each of the clothespins comprising a first clip piece and a second clip piece, and an elastic portion connected therebetween, and a spring disposed on the elastic portion; each of the first clip piece and the second clip piece having a through hole formed at an upper portion thereof, and the two through holes located at corresponding positions to enable the supporting bar of the main body to simultaneously penetrate therethrough; anda plurality of spacers, each of the spacers formed in a tube shape having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the supporting bar; each of the spacers, which is disposed on the supporting bar, borne against between any two adjacent clothespins which are on the same supporting bar; with the spacers, two clothespins at two ends of the supporting bar respectively borne against an inner surface of the first bar and an inner surface of the shifting board from outer surfaces thereof.
  • 2. The clothes drying hanger of claim 1, wherein a first supporting portion and a second supporting portion respectively protruding from an upper portion of the first bar and an upper portion of the second bar are configured to connect to a horizontal rod therebetween, and the horizontal rod further comprises a hook to enable the main body to be hanged.
  • 3. The clothes drying hanger of claim 2, wherein the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion are formed in a frame shape.
  • 4. The clothes drying hanger of claim 1, wherein the connecting rods of the handle are configured to respectively penetrate through the second bar and firmly engage on the shifting board.
  • 5. The clothes drying hanger of claim 1, wherein each of the supporting bars has a square cross-section and the through holes of the clothespins are square holes.
  • 6. The clothes drying hanger of claim 1, wherein each of the springs is a compression spring disposed on the supporting bar, and two ends of the spring are respectively borne against the first clip piece and the second clip piece of the clothespin.
  • 7. The clothes drying hanger of claim 1, wherein each of the springs is a torsional spring borne against between the first clip piece and the second clip piece of the clothespin.
  • 8. The clothes drying hanger of claim 1, wherein each of the first clip pieces is pivotally connected to a U-shaped blocking member having two zigzag portions at two legs thereof, and each of two lateral edges of the second clip piece comprises a recess and a blocking edge; the two legs of the blocking member are respectively coupled with the two recesses to enable the two zigzag portions to abut against the two blocking edges, thereby spacing apart the lower portion of the clothespin between the first clip piece and the second clip piece to form an opening which enables a clothes to be put therein easily.
