The present invention relates to a clothes stand, and more particularly to a foldable clothes stand to significantly reduce the size thereof.
Most conventional cloth stands are reverse H-shaped, so the bottom portion is formed as a base and the top portion has a horizontal bar for the clothes to be hung. Sometimes, more than one horizontal bars can be arranged between the top and bottom portions.
However, conventional the cloth stand is disadvantageous because when the clothes stand is not used, it is difficult to be stored or disassembled. In other words, the size of the clothes stand cannot be significantly reduced when it is not used. Therefore, there remains a need for a new and improved clothes stand to overcome the problems stated above.
The present invention provides a clothes stand may include a main body that has a first base, a second base, and a horizontal bar connecting the first and second bases. A first connecting base is formed at a central bottom portion of the first base and the second base has a corresponding second connecting base. The second connecting base is secured at a bottom portion of the second base through two long slots and two knobs, so the second base can move along the slot. The first connecting base has a connecting rib with a corresponding first connecting rod, while the second connecting base has a second connecting rib with a second connecting rod to secure the first base and second base to two ends of the horizontal bar.
Comparing with conventional clothes stands, the present invention is advantageous because: the first base and second base are disposed at both ends of the first horizontal bar through the first connecting base and second connecting base, which can be rotated along the first connecting rod and second connecting rod respectively to further drive the first base and second base toward the first horizontal bar. Meanwhile, the first supporting pole and second supporting pole can be disposed on the first horizontal bar to significantly reduce the size of the main body. Since the size of the main is reduced, the costs for packaging and transportation can be reduced as well.

Comparing with conventional clothes stands, the present invention is advantageous because: the first base 11 and second base 12 are disposed at both ends of the first horizontal bar 13 through the first connecting base 20 and second connecting base 30, which can be rotated along the first connecting rod 22 and second connecting rod 34 respectively to further drive the first base 11 and second base 12 toward the first horizontal bar 13. Meanwhile, the first supporting pole 112 and second supporting pole 122 can be disposed on the first horizontal bar 13 to significantly reduce the size of the main body 10. Since the size of the main 10 is reduced, the costs for packaging and transportation can be reduced as well.
Having described the invention by the description and illustrations above, it should be understood that these are exemplary of the invention and are not to be considered as limiting. Accordingly, the invention is not to be considered as limited by the foregoing description, but includes any equivalents.
