BACKGROUND
There are no clothing accessory straps that give you the ability to attach with a clip feature to any outer garment such as a coat/jacket which allows for the intent of carrying your coat/jacket on your back when not wearing it.
There are companies that have material/fabric straps permanently sewn into the garment, for the purpose of carrying the coat on your back, but there is not a detachable accessory with clips to allow for attaching and detaching to ANY garment for carrying in this manner.
A similar looking item such as suspenders are attached to each other at person's mid back and are for intention of holding up pants.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION
The intent is to carry a garment such as a coat/jacket over the shoulders and hang it on your back to be hands free of carrying the coat, similar to how you would wear a backpack.

DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
The coat carrying strap invention is made of 2 identical straps (FIG. 1), which has 2 clips (FIG. 2A) per strap and 4 total clips for the pair, permanently attached on each end of each strap (FIG. 1A).
The strap (FIG. 1A) is made of a non-stretch fabric, webbing or twill material.
The clip (FIG. 2A) on each end of the strap (FIG. 1A) allows for attachment to a garment in 2 places on the garment to carry the coat hands free on the person's back when not wearing the garment.
The clip (FIG. 2A) has a flap (FIG. 2C) that allows an open/close feature (FIG. 2B) with teeth inside of the clip (FIG. 2D) to allow for a strong gripping hold to the garment.
The clips (FIG. 2A) are made of steel and contain teeth inside which allow for a heavy duty hold and strong grip to a garment of any weight. Each clip (FIG. 2A) is attached onto each end of each strap (FIG. 1A), so 2 clips per strap.
There is a slider (FIG. 3) that allows for strap adjusting to lengthen or shorten the strap. One slide is used per strap. This is an optional feature.
The slider is rectangular in shape, with 2 open slots (FIG. 3A) in which the strap goes up through one slot (FIG. 3A) in the slider and then threaded down the other slot (FIG. 3A) for attaching the strap (FIG. 1A) to the slider (FIG. 3).
