Claims
- 1. A polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of:
(a) a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2; (b) a polynucleotide comprising a coding region of the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1; (c) a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 in which one or more amino acids are substituted, deleted, added and/or inserted; and (d) a polynucleotide hybridizing under stringent conditions with a polynucleotide comprising the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1.
- 2. The polynucleotide according to claim 1, wherein the polynucleotide is expressed in a plant in response to cold stress.
- 3. A vector comprising the polynucleotide according to claim 1.
- 4. A transformed plant cell comprising the polynucleotide according to claim 1 in an expressible manner.
- 5. The transformed plant cell according to claim 4, further comprising a polynucleotide encoding calreticulin.
- 6. A transformed plant comprising the transformed plant cell according to claim 4.
- 7. A transformed plant comprising the transformed plant cell according to claim 5.
- 8. A transformed plant that is a progeny or a clone of the transformed plant according to claim 6.
- 9. A transformed plant that is a progeny or a clone of the transformed plant according to claim 7.
- 10. A propagation material of the transformed plant according to claim 6.
- 11. A propagation material of the transformed plant according to claim 7.
- 12. A method of producing a plant, the method comprising the steps of:
introducing into a plant cell
(a) the polynucleotide according to claim 1; or (b) the polynucleotide according to claim 1 and a polynucleotide encoding calreticulin; and regenerating the plant from the plant cell.
