The present invention relates generally to a collapsible protective transport box apparatus for the protection and transportation of easily smashed or crushed grocery items, and more particularly soft bread such as loaved bread when in transport by hand, in a shopping cart, shopping bags or other bread transporting means.
Loaved bread is one of the popular types of bread purchased by consumers. Loaved bread in transport in a grocery cart, grocery bag or by hand is subject to being crushed by other hard goods and items such as milk or can goods. Paper bags, plastic bags and reusable nylon bags are not film enough to prevent loaved bread from being smashed or crushed when shopping or in transport. The collapsible protective transport box apparatus can be easily carried and deployed and locked in the open position for the transportation and protection of loaved bread and other easily crushed items while in transport.
The statements in this section merely provide background information related to the present disclosure and may not constitute prior art.
The present invention is directed to a collapsible protective transport box apparatus for transportation and protection of bread and other easily smashed or crushed in transport. One embodiment of the present invention can include a plurality of sides, more particularly a box with four sides with a hinged first bottom panel articulated connected with a hinged second bottom panel. a hinged second bottom panel articulated connected to a first short side. A collapsible protective transport box apparatus is locked in the open position by inserting a hinged second bottom panel into a bottom slot and attaching it via an inner attachment mechanism to a far side attachment point via a far side attachment point as a means of locking the collapsible protective transport box apparatus in the open position. A collapsible protective transport box apparatus that is held closed by internal attachment mechanisms mounted on the inner surfaces of a collapsible protective transport box apparatus.
This summary is provided merely to introduce certain concepts and not to identify key or essential features of the claimed subject matter.
Presently preferred embodiments are shown in the drawings. It should be appreciated, however, that the invention is not limited to the precise arrangements and instrumentalities shown.
These and other features of this invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description of the various aspects of the invention taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in which:
These elements when assembled in this manner will form a rectangle or square box in which loaved breaded or other easily squashed of crushed products can be inserted and protected for transport.
In the description outer surface refer to the external surface of the collapsible protective transport box apparatus and the inner surface refer to the internal surface of the collapsible protective transport box apparatus. Like reference numbers are used to identify like elements. Furthermore, the drawings are intended to illustrate major features of exemplary embodiments in a diagrammatic manner. The drawings are not intended to depict every feature of every implementation nor relative dimensions of the depicted elements, and are not drawn to scale. For example, A hinged first bottom panel 1 and a hinged second bottom panel 2 can also be folded internal to the Protective Transport box apparatus and secured closed via an internal a first short side 5 attachment point when box is collapsed. A hinged second bottom panel 2 can be secured internal to the box to a second short side 9 of a box via an internal a far side attachment point 6 allowing a hinged first bottom panel 1 and a hinged second bottom panel 2 to deploy internal to the Protective Transport box apparatus to be locked in deployed position.
The collapsed Protective Transport box apparatus can be manufactured using cardboard, wood, silicone, plastics or other types materials.
The collapsible protective transport box apparatus design can be implemented to make a collapsible box with one, two, three, four or more chambers for transporting bread or other easily squashed or crushed items.
While certain details of construction have been disclosed herein, no doubt various changes in the structure would suggest themselves to one skilled in the art who peruses this specification. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited to the precise details disclosed herein.
