Abstract
A collapsible reading stand contains a body, and the body includes a base connected with a holder by using two first hinges and two second hinges. The holder includes a hollow chamber, multiple receiving orifices, and two dead holes. The base has a first protrusion extending, a second protrusion, and a third protrusion defined, a first locking zone, a second locking zone, and multiple accommodation trenches of different sizes. The holder is connected with a support rack, and the support rack includes a fixing post, two reinforcement extensions, and two columns. When connecting the body, the holder is rotated upward by using the two first hinges and the two second hinges, and the support rack is rotated backward along the two columns, then the fixing post of the support rack is engaged in the first locking zone or the second locking zone, thus erecting the collapsible reading stand.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a collapsible reading stand which is connected and removed and changes a reading angle quickly by using the base, the holder, and the support rack.


BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional collapsible reading stand contains a reading body and a counterweight base, wherein the counterweight base has multiple metal protrusions and is connected with the reading body. When desiring to adjust the reading body to a desired angle, it is necessary to connect another adjustment structure with the reading body. However, the conventional collapsible reading stand has following defects:


1) The adjustment structure is complicated and is manufactured at a high cost. In addition, a positioning portion of the adjustment structure is damaged easily after a period of using time.


2) Related components of the conventional collapsible reading stand are connected detachably, hence the conventional collapsible reading stand is not stored easily.


The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary aspect of the present invention is to provide a collapsible reading stand which is connected and removed and changes a reading angle quickly by using the base, the holder, and the support rack.


Another aspect of the present invention is to provide a collapsible reading stand by which when storing the body, the holder and the support rack lie on the top of the base parallelly, and the first protrusion, the third protrusion and the second protrusion are located in the hollow chamber of the holder, thus storing the collapsible reading stand flatly.


To achieve above-mentioned aspects, a collapsible reading stand provided by the present invention contains: a body. The body includes a base connected with a holder by using two first hinges and two second hinges.


The holder includes a hollow chamber defined therein, multiple receiving orifices defined on two short peripheral ribs, and two dead holes formed on two centers of two long peripheral ribs.


The base has a first protrusion extending on a first section thereof, a second protrusion extending on a second end of the base, and a third protrusion defined between the first protrusion and the second protrusion, a first locking zone formed between the first protrusion and the third protrusion, a second locking zone formed between the third protrusion and the second protrusion, and multiple accommodation trenches of different sizes defined adjacent to two sides of a top of the base.


The holder is connected with a support rack, the support rack includes a fixing post and two reinforcement extensions connected with two ends of the fixing post so as to form a U-shape frame, and the support rack includes two columns extending from two inner walls of the two reinforcement extensions opposite to the fixing post, and the two columns are received in the two dead holes of the holder.


When connecting the body, the holder is rotated upward by using the two first hinges and the two second hinges, and the support rack is rotated backward along the two columns of the support rack, then the fixing post of the support rack is engaged in the first locking zone or the second locking zone, thus erecting the collapsible reading stand.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

With reference to FIGS. 1-2, a collapsible reading stand according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a body 10, and the body 10 includes a base 11 connected with a holder 20 by using two first hinges 18 and two second hinges 23.


The holder 20 includes a hollow chamber 24 defined therein, multiple receiving orifices 21 defined on two short peripheral ribs 25, and two dead holes 22 formed on two centers of two long peripheral ribs 26.


The base 11 has a first protrusion 13 extending on a first section thereof, a second protrusion 15 extending on a second end of the base 11, and a third protrusion 14 defined between the first protrusion 13 and the second protrusion 15, a first locking zone 16 formed between the first protrusion 13 and the third protrusion 14, a second locking zone 17 formed between the third protrusion 14 and the second protrusion 15, and multiple accommodation trenches 12 of different sizes defined adjacent to two sides of a top of the base 11.


The holder 20 is connected with a 30, the support rack 30 includes a fixing post 31 and two reinforcement extensions 32 connected with two ends of the fixing post 31 so as to form a U-shape frame, and the support rack 30 includes two columns 33 extending from two inner walls of the two reinforcement extensions 32 opposite to the fixing post 31, and the two columns 33 are received in the two dead holes 22 of the holder 20, thus connecting the holder 20 and the support rack 30.


Referring to FIGS. 1, 3, 4, and 5, when connecting the body 10, the holder 20 is rotated upward by using the two first hinges 18 and the two second hinges 23, and the support rack 30 is rotated backward along the two columns 33 of the support rack 30, then the fixing post 31 of the support rack 30 is engaged in the first locking zone 16 or the second locking zone 17. When the fixing post 31 is engaged in the first locking zone 16, the holder 20 is erected at 60 digress. When the fixing post 31 is engaged in the second locking zone 17, the holder 20 is erected at 45 degrees. Thereby, the collapsible reading stand is adjustably rotated to any desired angles quickly and easily. When storing the body 10, the holder 20 and the support rack 30 lie on the top of the base 11 parallelly. The first protrusion 13, the third protrusion 14, and the second protrusion 15 are located in the hollow chamber 24 of the holder 20, thus storing the collapsible reading stand flatly.


As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the multiple receiving orifices 21 of the holder 20 are configured to receive at least one folder 40 so that the at least one folder 40 is rotated along the multiple receiving orifices 21, thus enhancing using convenience.

  • 1. A collapsible reading stand comprising a body, and the body including a base connected with a holder by using two first hinges and two second hinges; wherein the holder includes a hollow chamber defined therein, multiple receiving orifices defined on two short peripheral ribs, and two dead holes formed on two centers of two long peripheral ribs;wherein the base has a first protrusion extending on a first section thereof, a second protrusion extending on a second end of the base, and a third protrusion defined between the first protrusion and the second protrusion, a first locking zone formed between the first protrusion and the third protrusion, a second locking zone formed between the third protrusion and the second protrusion, and multiple accommodation trenches of different sizes defined adjacent to two sides of a top of the base;wherein the holder is connected with a support rack, the support rack includes a fixing post and two reinforcement extensions connected with two ends of the fixing post so as to form a U-shape frame, and the support rack includes two columns extending from two inner walls of the two reinforcement extensions opposite to the fixing post, and the two columns are received in the two dead holes of the holder;wherein when connecting the body, the holder is rotated upward by using the two first hinges and the two second hinges, and the support rack is rotated backward along the two columns of the support rack, then the fixing post of the support rack is engaged in the first locking zone or the second locking zone, thus erecting the collapsible reading stand.
  • 2. The collapsible reading stand as claimed in claim 1, wherein when the fixing post is engaged in the first locking zone, the holder is erected at 60 digress.
  • 3. The collapsible reading stand as claimed in claim 1, wherein when storing the body, the holder and the support rack lie on the top of the base parallelly.
  • 4. The collapsible reading stand as claimed in claim 1, wherein the multiple receiving orifices of the holder are configured to receive at least one folder so that the at least one folder is rotated along the multiple receiving orifices.
