1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a combined plastic chopping board structure, and more particularly to an upper chopping board and a lower chopping board attached to two sides of a base. The chopping board structure has two faces in different colors for identification with ease.
2. Description of the Prior Art
As shown in
1. The former plastic chopping board needs a complicated process to manufacture, which is not cost-effective. Although the non-slip layer is provided on the back of the chopping board, the non-slip effect is limited when the chopping board is contact with water. This is inconvenient when in use. Because the back of the chopping board is provided with the non-slip layer, the chopping board can be used with a single face.
2. The latter plastic chopping board is a dual-face and wear-resisting chopping board. In order to prevent the chopping board from moving when in use, the weight of the chopping board must be increased. This increases the production cost. Both faces of the chopping boards are in the same color, without signs, patterns, trademarks for identification or marking. The user may be confused when using the chopping board to influence the hygiene.
The primary object of the present invention is to provide a combined plastic chopping board structure which includes an upper chopping board, a lower chopping board, and a base. The upper and lower chopping boards have a geometric shape in any color. The upper and lower chopping boards are treated with antimicrobial treatment. The upper and lower chopping boards have pattern holes or first hanging holes thereon. The base is integrally formed with the upper and lower chopping boards by injection. The base has a protruding pattern to engage with the pattern holes of the upper and lower chopping boards and a second hanging hole corresponding to the first hanging holes. The upper and lower chopping boards are in different colors and have the pattern holes for identification with ease. The base can be coupled with the upper chopping board or the lower chopping board only to become a one-piece chopping board having two faces in different colors to lower the cost.
Preferably, the base has a handle. The base is integrally formed with the upper and lower chopping boards by injection. The base has an outer frame which is flush with or slightly higher than outer edges of the upper and lower chopping boards to form a stop groove to retain water.
Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As show in
The upper and lower chopping boards 2, 2′ are formed by extrusion, pressing or injection and have a geometric shape in any color. The geometric shape may be a square, oval or the like. The upper and lower chopping boards 2, 2′ are treated with antimicrobial treatment so as to prevent bacteria. The upper and lower chopping boards 2, 2′ have pattern holes 21, 21′ or first hanging holes 22, 22′ thereon. The pattern holes 21, 21′ are signs, figures or trademarks for identifying or marking the chopping boards.
The base 3 is integrally formed with the upper and lower chopping boards 2, 2′, by injection. The base 3 has a protruding pattern 31 to engage with the pattern holes 21, 21′ of the upper and lower chopping boards 2, 2′ and a second hanging hole 32 corresponding to the first hanging holes 22, 22′. The base 3 can be a hand-held board corresponding in shape to the upper and lower chopping boards 2, 2′. The chopping board of the present invention is treated with antimicrobial treatment, enhancing the practical use and providing an identification effect.
Accordingly, the chopping board of the present invention can be treated with antimicrobial treatment to lower the cost and to enhance the positioning, identification and so on.
Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
