Claims
- 1. An apparatus for processing a full page, comprising:
means for collecting samples of an RF signal for a duration longer then a quick paging slot; means for storing the collected samples in a sample RAM; means for searching the stored samples at various time offsets to detect a set of pilot channels; means for demodulating the paging channels of the stored samples associated with the detected set of pilot channels; means for determining from the demodulated paging channels if a quick page has been received; and means for activating finger elements to process a full page when a quick page has been determined.
- 2. An apparatus for processing a full page, comprising:
an RF/IF system configured to collect samples of an RF signal for a duration longer then a quick paging slot; a RAM, coupled to the RF/IF system, configured to store the collected samples; a searcher, coupled with the RAM, configured to search the stored samples at various time offsets to detect a set of pilot channels and to demodulate the paging channels of the stored samples associated with the detected set of pilot channels; and a control unit, coupled with the searcher, configured to determine from the demodulated paging channels if a quick page has been received and to activate finger elements to process a full page when a quick page has been determined.
