The present application generally relates to apparel, and, more particularly, to comfortwear pants that may be used as active wear and/or lounge wear having interchangeable features for proper fit on the wearer.
Outerwear, such as jackets and pants, are generally worn to protect the body from the elements and to try and keep the body temperature of the wearer at a desirable level. Some types of outerwear, such as hoodies, sweatpants, and the like. may be formed of cotton. polyester, or a combination of the two. The use of these materials may make these types of outerwear flexible and less restrictive to the wearer. Because of this, many people wear these types of outerwear during physical activities such as jogging, playing different sporting activities, hiking, or other types of physical activities. These types of outer wear may also be used as loungewear or sleep wear due to the soft and flexible nature of these fabrics.
Unfortunately, sweatpants have not changed much from when they first originated. While different materials may be used, the basic design of the sweatpants has not changed. Further, sweatpants are generally designed in predetermined sizes and cannot be altered to fit a particular user.
Therefore, it would be desirable to provide a pair of sweatpants that overcome the above problems. The pair of sweatpants would be designed to be more comfortable to wear. The pair of sweatpants would have adjustable features to allow a user to customize the pair of sweatpants.
In accordance with one embodiment, a clothing article is disclosed. The clothing article has a waist band. A pair of leg members extend down from the waist band. A pair of removable foot covers is provided, wherein an individual foot cover is removable attached to a distal end of each of the pair of leg members.

A pants liner is attached to an interior of each of the pair of leg members. A pair of removable foot covers is provided, wherein an individual foot cover is removable attached to a distal end of each of the pair of leg members. A foot cover liner is attached to an interior of each of the pair of foot covers.

The present disclosure relates to an improved pair of sweatpants. The sweatpants will have an inner liner that is soft and comfortable to keep the wearer warm but is lightweight so as to not hinder the wearer during activities. The inner liner can wick away moisture and dry quickly and is simple to maintain and clean. The improved pair of sweatpants can be tailored to provide different footing sizes based on the wear's shoe size.

To further secure the sweatpants 12A around the waist of the wearer, a drawstring 16 inserted within the interior of the waist band 12. The drawstring 16 may be used to tighten the sweatpants 12A around the waist of the wearer. In order to prevent the drawstring 16 from being pulled into the interior of the waist band 12, eyelets 16A may be formed where each end of the drawstring 16 exits the interior of the waist band 12. In accordance with one embodiment. the eyelets 16A may be metal eyelets.
The sweatpants 12A may have a pair of pant legs 18 extending down from the waist band 12. In accordance with one embodiment, the sweatpants 12A may be customizable so that a wearer may selected a length of the pant legs 18 similar to picking the length of a pair of jeans or slacks. Each pant leg 18 may terminate with a foot cover 20. The foot cover 20 may be removably attached to the distal end of each pant leg 18. By having removably foot covers 20, the wearer may change out the foot covers 20 to one of a proper size for the wearer's foot size. Different foot covers 20 may be provided which match a specific country's show sizing charts to allow a wearer to selected a specific foot cover 20 to properly fit a wearer. Connectors 22 may be used removably attach the foot cover 20 to the distal end of each pant leg 18. The connectors 22 may be hook and loop material, snaps, buttons, or similar types of connectors.
One or more pockets 23 may be formed in an upper side area of each pant leg 18. The pockets 23 may be used to store different items of the wearer such as keys, a wallet, or the like. Alternatively, or in addition to, the pockets 23 may be used to allow the wearer to insert his/her hands therein in order to keep the wearer's hands warm.
The pant legs 18 may have a liner 24. The liner 24 may be a sherpa fleece lining which may extend down an entire length of the pant leg 18. The sherpa fleece lining has many benefits over other types of liners. sherpa fleece lining has two sides, a smooth side and a furry lining side. This creates a strong insulation layer for the sweatpants 10. The sherpa fleece lining is effective in wicking away moisture allowing the material to be fast drying. The sherpa fleece is also light weigh and easy to clan/maintain. In accordance with one embodiment, a single layer of sherpa fleece lining may be formed in each pant leg 18.
The foot covers 20 may also have a liner 26 formed within an interior thereof. The liner 26 may be a sherpa fleece lining as they provide the same benefits as disclosed above. Since the extremities of the body tend to get colder more easily. the foot covers 20 having multiple layers of sherpa fleece lining. In the present embodiment, the foot covers 20 may have two layers of sherpa fleece lining.
Located on the bottom of each foot cover 20 may be grips 28. The grips 28 may be used to prevent the foot cover 20 from slipping on different surfaces. The grips 29 may be rubberized, silicon, or similar types of grips that may be attached to the bottom of each foot cover 20.
