The present device relates generally to cosmetic devices, and more particularly to a combination cosmetic device to allow users to protect their make-up palette during usage and transport of the device.
People have been wearing skin cosmetics and skin protectants for hundreds of years, dating all the way back to the ancient Egyptians and many cultures indigenous to different continents. As skin cosmetics and skin protectants have become commonplace, more individuals of both genders purchase and utilize skin cosmetics and skin protectants for various reasons. With fast-paced lives, many individuals rush to complete their look prior to their departure. With a swift motion, the compact may drop leading to the product's breakdown and in need of a protective barrier.
Clearly the more people utilize skin cosmetics and skin protectants the more likely it is that the individual prefers to transport skin cosmetics and skin protectants when leaving the home for on the spot fixes and touchups. This is also true for occasions when the user must travel, and particularly when the travel is for short periods of time. As cosmetic containers are normally small in nature, these vessels tend to sink to the bottom of the transport systems, be it a bag, purse, pocketbook or automobile, often causing damage to the compact due to the weight of other items upon the compact.
There are numerous differing genres of products that individuals carry with them for traveling or just leaving the house, including but not limited to separate items such as blush, bronzer, compact powder, and eye shadow. All of these items need protection during transport to prevent fragmentation.
The present device, as illustrated herein, is clearly not anticipated, rendered obvious, or even present in any of the prior art mechanisms, either alone or in any combination thereof.
Therefore, it is a primary object of the present device to provide a spherical shaped or squarical shaped (being shaped as a square and having rounded edges) cosmetic compact that houses make-up palettes.
It is another object of the present device to protect the make-up palette by absorbing the shock when dropped or tossed around preventing the make-up from breaking and disintegrating.
It is another object of the present device to provide soft, reusable and hypo-allergenic design that houses a variety of make-up palettes sizes so a consumer can keep brand preferences.
It is yet another object of the present device to conserve money by vitiating the need to repurchase cosmetics due to disintegration and loss of product when dropped or crushed during travel.
It is yet another object of the present device to allow individuals to easily switch between make-up palettes while on the move.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of a cosmetic device that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the device that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
In this respect, before explaining at least one embodiment of the device in detail, it is to be understood that the device is not limited in its application to the details of construction and to the arrangements of the components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The device is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced and carried out in various ways, including applications involving the art discussed herein. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein are for the purpose of description and should not be regarded as limiting.
These together with other objects of the device, along with the various features of novelty, which characterize the device, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure. For a better understanding of the device, its operating advantages and the specific objects attained by its uses, reference should be made to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there are illustrated preferred embodiments of the system.
Advantages of the present device will be apparent from the following detailed description of exemplary embodiments thereof, which description should be considered in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
The detailed description set forth below is intended as a description of presently preferred embodiments of the invention and does not represent the only forms in which the present device may be construed and/or utilized. The description sets forth the functions and the sequence of the steps for producing the device. However, it is to be understood that the same or equivalent functions and sequences may be accomplished by different embodiments also intended to be encompassed within the scope of the invention.
In the instant embodiment, a cosmetic device 20 is disclosed, wherein the lower cosmetic containment section 14 preferably comprises a soft, shock absorbing, reusable hypo-allergenic portion 4 that is fit to size numerous configurations of round compacts on the market. Further addressing the lower portion the cosmetic containment section of the instant embodiment, the reusable hypo-allergenic portion 4 is an inserted into the sponge-like shell of outer portion 2, which may be manufactured from a form of polymeric material.
Addressing the upper portion 15, no make-up is contained in this section and instead top of the compact that includes a mirror 6 and a sponge-like shell of outer portion 7.
In the instant embodiment, a cosmetic device 30 is disclosed, wherein the cosmetic device section 16 preferably comprises a soft, shock absorbing, reusable hypo-allergenic material portions 8 that is fit to size all multiple sizes of round compacts on the market and is inserted into the sponge-like shell of outer portion 10.
Addressing the upper portion 17, no make-up is contained in this section and instead again the upper portion of the compact that includes a mirror 12 and a sponge-like shell of outer portion 14.
In this embodiment, as in
Addressing the upper portion 15, no make-up is contained in this section and instead top of the compact that includes a mirror 6 and a sponge-like shell of outer portion 7.
In this embodiment, as in
Addressing the upper portion 17, no make-up is contained in this section and instead again the upper portion of the compact that includes a mirror 12 and a sponge-like shell of outer portion 14.
