Claims
- 1. A complex machining machine tool comprising:a tool rest for attachably and detachably installing a complex tool having a single main body for installing a plurality of inserts thereon, the complex tool having a plurality of virtual tools corresponding to machining capable of being performed with a plurality of the inserts; means for indexing the complex tool at a predetermined indexing position by rotating the complex tool around its axial center provided at the tool rest; a tool file for storing tool data to be used in a machining program; the tool data being stored in the tool file and including a tool name for each virtual tool set in each complex tool, capable of designating in the machining program, and rotating indexing positional data concerning the virtual tool; a virtual tool selecting indexing instructing means for reading out tool data of the virtual tool corresponding to the tool name out of the tool file on the basis of the tool name and a machining instruction stored in the machining program, and instructing the means for indexing to select and index the virtual tool set for the complex tool on the basis of the rotating indexing positional data of the tool; machining execution means for executing a machining corresponding to the machining instruction on the basis of the virtual tool indexed at said predetermined indexed position by the means for indexing.
- 2. The complex machining machine tool of claim 1, wherein the complex tool is set and registered in said tool file as a plurality of virtual tools corresponding to the machining capable of being performed by said complex tool.
- 3. The complex machining machine tool of claim 1, wherein the tool data of the virtual tools stored in the tool file include tool data concerning at least two virtual tools set for one insert.
- 4. The complex machining machine tool of claim 1, wherein the tool data of the virtual tools stored in the tool file include the tool data of two kinds of virtual tools, a turning tool and a milling tool, set for one insert.
- 5. The complex machining machine tool of claim 1, wherein information showing tool edge position for each of the virtual tools is stored as tool data in said tool file.
- 6. The complex machining machine tool of claim 1, wherein the machining execution means has a tool exhaustion judging means for judging tool exhaustion concerning the virtual tool and a substituting tool judging means for adopting another virtual tool of the same kind set on the complex tool on which the virtual tool judged as exhausted is set as a substituting tool when the judgment that the virtual tool reaches exhaustion is given by the tool exhaustion judging means, and the machining execution means executes machining by using the virtual tool judged as the substituting tool by the substituting tool judging means.
